Originally built around the 1900s as a private house, the Monte Rosa then became a hotel in 1966 and subsequently over the years this was then converted into apartments. Middle Sea comes with direct beach access and is situated on the first floor of this well maintained apartment block, enjoying stunning views across the sea and out towards Ballard Down and the Isle of Wight.

The open plan kitchen/living area is light and sunny and benefits from a balcony overlooking the picturesque communal gardens and out to sea.

Follow the path through the private gardens and down a steep wooden set of stairs straight onto the sandy beach.

There's also a communal laundry room on the ground floor with a washing machine and dryer, currently charged at £4 per wash.

Although rather bijou (especially in the bedroom department), the flat is so well kitted out by an owner who obviously cares, and so immaculately clean, that we did not mind its size. The views are fabulous, and we thoroughly enjoyed our "home from home". We would love to stay there again.

Absolutely fantastic ! Such a wonderful flat , everything you need and so well maintained. The cleanliness is of an exceptionally high standard, and everything is set out beautifully. The views are stunning and we could just sit and look out at the views all day long! For the second year in a row, we had a lovely holiday at the Middle Sea. The flat is located a short walk from the beach and the town centre and is a good base camp if you prefer to travel around the area, or a great place to stay and relax while enjoying the wonderful views. Swanage is a great town with a great beach and lots of really good pubs aRead morend restaurants, with Corfe Castle, the Swanage Railway and places like Poole and Bournemouth all easily accessible.
