The property was perfect for 2 families to get together - very well resourced and in a good location for the beach and town (good to forget about the car for a few days). Everyone enjoyed their stay but we all felt that the house and garden was in need of a little TLC.

A really great house to stay. Good location for the town and common walks. Really well equipped and the lounge was an excellent comfortable place to look over the lovely garden. Will book again.

This is a great house for a family or multiple guests, with plenty of space, well-equipped and with a lovely garden. Parking outside for two cars is a real bonus. Very conveniently situated for all the amenities on offer in Southwold. We had some issues with the central heating, and on each occasion had a prompt response from Holiday Cottages

A good property for larger groups. A large spacious property which was very well equipped. The house would benefit from some updating and a thorough cleaning. Well positioned for both the pier and town centre. Response from holidaycottages.co.uk: Thank you fore your review. This is a good house for families and groups of friends. We enjoyed it as we enjoy the company of our family but the house was in need of some TLC and updating to various rooms and a deep clean.

Tynewold is wonderfully placed in Southwold. A short walk from the sea and a nice walk into town. The house is a well organised family home and caters very easily for ten people.

This was our second time in Tynewold, the first being some years ago. The location is fine, just a short walk from the High Streetin one direction, and the Pier in the other. Facilities are good, especially the large enclosed garden, although getting to the garden is vis a bedroom or by moving furniture in the sitting room.
