Surrounded by Suffolk countryside, Lake Farm Barn welcomes guests with open arms into its open planned living space. The well-groomed grounds that lead onto further rural landscape are lined with flora and fauna. 16 acres of private land can be explored by Lake Farm’s guests including a pretty lake. A stone patio, located at the rear of the property, has high-quality garden furniture, a large BBQ and is sheltered, meaning guests can enjoy dining al fresco come rain or shine.

From the patio and through the sliding glass doors is Lake Farm Barn’s living space. Spacious and light, guests will be met by floor to ceiling windows, original beams and tasteful interior. For the colder months, the statement wood burner is a welcomed asset, along with underground heating that runs through the holiday home. A beautiful kitchen, with calming blue tones and excellent facilities, is a fantastic space for cooking. Should guests make the most of their self-catering property, a large dining table, looking out onto the pretty garden, is the perfect place for wining and dining.

Lake Farm Barn sleeps up to six people with three generously sized bedrooms, two of which boast super king size beds. With nothing but nature surrounding the property, guests are sure to get a good night sleep. On the first floor, one of the bedrooms has a balcony where sleepy eyes and morning stretches are welcome. A second wash room can be found upstairs so there is no need for upstairs sleepers to ponder downstairs in the middle of the night. Should guests wish, two pets are welcome at Lake Farm Barn, and we’re sure they’ll love the abundance of private outdoor space that the holiday home provides. Shop: 0.3 miles Pub: 0.3 miles.

Weve just had a fabulous week at Lake Farm Barn. The peace and quiet is wonderful and theres so much wildlife around. Ducks, rabbits, foxes, woodpeckers, deer, the list goes on. The beds are really comfortable, as are the sofas, and the kitchen has everything you could possibly need. Thank you Debs and Colin, I do hope we can come again one day.

Beautifully converted barn, situated in lovely gardens, with a countryside view. Short, 5 minute walk to the village centre, with a great butcher's shop, Co-op and pub. Plenty of walks nearby including at the nearby reservoir, River Orwell and River Stour. Ipswich is only a 15 minute drive away and the coastal towns of Felixstowe, Woodbridge, OrRead moreford, Aldeburgh and Southwold are all easily accessible for a daytrip. Venturing inland you have the interesting towns of Lavenham, Cavendish and Bury St Edmunds. The house itself has 3 double bedrooms, a great kitchen / dining and living area, as well as a nice patio with garden furniture. Overall a great place to stay and enjoy the Suffolk / North Essex countryside with friends and or family! Hide

Lovely place to completely chill out. Spent the evening playing games, watching films and enjoying proper family time together. Plenty of walks right on the doorstep with our 12 year old lab, Max, who gained a new lease of life over the week.
