The Moorings is situated in the heart of the popular fishing port of Portreath. This modern house is comfortably furnished with three bedrooms that can accommodate up to 5 people, making it the ideal choice for a family or small group of friends. The property benefits from a patio to the rear which looks out over the harbour - the perfect spot to wine and dine on a sunny evening.

Portreath is a fishing port on Cornwall's North West Coast and is an excellent base for touring all that Cornwall has to offer. You are spoilt for choice with nearby beaches - Portreath beach is less than a 5 minute walk from the front door, with the popular surfing beaches of Gwithian and Porthtowan either side of the village being a hot spot for locals and holidaymakers alike. The South West coastal path runs along this heritage coastline, and for those looking for an all day adventure we recommend the coast to coast cycle trail from Portreath to Devoran. This is a family friendly cycle trail, following to the old mineral tramways and is one of the best ways to explore Cornwall.

The Moorings is clean and has everything a family needs. It is very comfortable and couldnt be in a better position on the harbour. The beach is on the doorstep and hearing the water in the harbour from the back bedroom at night is lovely. There is room to sit outside at the front of the property and the back and comfortable outdoor chairs are prRead moreovided. The kitchen is well equipped and the dishwasher is a big plus along with a tumble dryer. Its brilliant having everything on the doorstep and not having to drive around at all. You cant beat the central position of The Moorings. Hide

A beautifully presented modern cosy cottage on the harbour-front at Portreath. For a city dweller, it was mesmerising watching the tide come in and out of the harbour from the comfort of the lounge and bedroom windows! Great position for the beach and many Cornish beauty spots, and great value for money. You can feel the welcome of the owner and thRead moree team as you walk through the door. Hide

Love the location and its proximity to the beach. Central for visiting other resorts in Cornwall. Very good value for money. Been coming for a number of years now and we all still enjoy our stay. Booked again for 2024

Perfect location, lovely house with everything you might need. Only negative is that the twin room is too cramped and very difficult to access the bed near the window without bashing legs. Would be better to put beds against walls either side of the radiator, would give more space. Cot unnecessary, provide a travel cot if necessary.

Overall dirtyness, sink, bowl, and drainer were filthy! Cobwebs everywhere. Mismatched uncomfortable furniture like an old people's home. Poor layout for watching TV - no basic channels either. I have plenty of photographs if you would like to contact me. We left a day early.
