The traditional kitchen has bespoke handmade units, a lovely terracotta tiled floor and French doors opening out onto the sunny south facing courtyard. The sitting room is homely and comfortable with a sofa and a couple of wicker chairs. (Bookworms will love the selection of reading matter too!) This bright and sunny room also has French doors onto the courtyard garden, perfect for alfresco dining, surrounded by climbing roses and lush green planting. Upstairs there’s a double and two single bedrooms, ideal for a family a seaside holiday on the Suffolk coast.
Southwold’s independent shops, cafes, pubs and the popular Swan Hotel are right on the doorstep. Stroll along the prom with its pastel shade beach huts, and visit the iconic pier and harbour. There are some lovely walks on the doorstep with easy access to the common and a nearby footpath takes you down to the harbour with the foot ferry to Walberswick (summer only). Whether you’re planning a bucket and spade holiday with the kids or walking or cycling holiday, this family friendly rental is perfect.

Southwold South Green Area - Properties here enjoy one of the best locations in town. From many of them you can look across South Green towards Gun Hill and the sea and the properties are within minutes of the market place, with the elegant Swan Hotel, an excellent range of small shops including a greengrocer with fresh local produce, family butcher and delicatessen. The popular Red Lion Inn overlooking South Green is even closer.
