Great little holiday let in a very quiet part of Snape. Lots of walks with our dog available without the need to get in the car. About a 15 minute walk (either cross country or down a very quiet lane) to the centre of Snape or 25 minute walk to the Maltings. Can recommend the Golden Key pub for a good pint and food. Ideally located to get to AldebuRead morergh or on to the A12 to explore further. The property is a wee bit tired but it has everything you need and the location makes up for any shortcomings. Hide

The furniture and fittings were first class, and immaculately presented. The joinery was first class, as was the location of the barn itself. Really no problems, but the collection of glasses need looking at as there isnt really any two the same. It was great to be able to open the door and let our dachshund out, he loved it.

We had a really relaxing stay in a beautiful setting. We were especially thrilled with the dark sky which enabled us to see the meteorites on 3 nights. It was also lovely to see the bats flying about and hear the owls. The Forge was in the perfect place for us to meet up with our family and to visit lots of places - Sutton Hoo, Snape Maltings, AldeRead morerburgh and Thorpeness etc. Thank you Hide

First impressions very good. I think the bedding was the best I have ever had in a holiday cottage. First class quality. A lovely well thought out goodie bag provided. Would have been nice if owners had introduced themselves and checked everything was ok.
