Formerly part of Reydon High School, Wisteria Cottage is situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. This wonderfully bright holiday cottage is furnished to a very high standard with emphasis on comfort and style. Wisteria Cottage is nestled on the edge of the village of Reydon, just over a mile away from the seaside town of Southwold.

Wisteria Cottage still retains some of the school’s unique features including the long windows up the staircase and entrance archway. Inside the cottage has a lovely open plan sitting room and dining area decorated in neutral colours for comfort and a lovely cream coloured kitchen facility is the perfect space for cooking during your self-catering break. Up the staircase to the first floor there are two cosy bedrooms to retire to – choose from the spacious double bedroom or a twin bedded room with fantastic skylight window allowing plenty of natural light. Guests staying at Wisteria Cottage have the added benefit of a bathroom for each bedroom with the double bedroom having a modern En-Suite shower therefore the family shower room can be exclusively used for the occupants of the twin bedroom.

Reydon is a delightful village in which to holiday. Perfectly suited to families, friends and couples, there are some great footpaths for walking and cycling including routes to Wangford and Southwold. Wisteria Cottage is within thirty minutes walking distance of the beach at Southwold, or if you prefer there is a bus stop just 50 yards away making self-catering holidays hassle free. Nice size house, plenty of internal space. Small private garden allows for outside eating and relaxation. Property just a short drive from Southwold and within easy access to surrounding beaches and countryside. Enjoyed our holiday very much and felt comfortable at the cottage - would recommend to small families and dog owners.

Our second stay at Wisteria Cottage. We find it very comfortable and extremely convenient for visiting Southwold and the surrounding area. Parking is so easy and the little cul de sac is very quiet. Nice to be able to sit outside in the garden. Beds are very good and the two sofas in the sitting room are extremely comfortable.

The cottage was lovely and cosy as the weather was cold and windy at the time.

Great place to stay, quiet enough to hear an owl hooting on our late evening walk; the garden is secure enough to let a small dog run around without fear of it wriggling under the gate (although ours was initially puzzled by the fake lawn which I'm not a fan of in real life but for a holiday cottage in the country at this time of year, it made perfRead moreect sense). The cottage is well kept and clean, well equipped and within a reasonable walk of two local shops. We didn't use the garage as there was sufficient parking outside the property. We have stayed in a few cottages in the Southwold area in recent years and this is one of the best; definitely recommend to others and would definitely return. Hide

The cottage is away from the bustle of Southwold, yet only a few minutes' drive away and well placed for visits to Aldeburgh, Walberswick and Halesworth. Extremely comfortable and lovely and light. It had everything we needed and was a cosy base to return to. The garden was sunny and ideal for sitting out with a drink.
