Bryn Eithin is a beautifully renovated luxury holiday cottage situated on the edge of the Snowdonia National Park. This high quality cottage has been converted with layout, space and natural light in mind. The cottage is super insulated and triple glazed throughout, with a log burning stove, making it a cosy retreat for any time of year. The materials used are locally sourced and the interior design is contemporary but with some more traditional period features such as refurbished Victorian wrought iron beds. The historic market town of Ruthin is 8 miles away, Betws-y-Coed, the gateway to Snowdonia, 22 miles.
The cottage is beautifully presented in every aspect and makes a gorgeous holiday home. The entrance opens to a high vaulted reception hallway leading to a living room with sofas, armchair, large flatscreen TV, DVD player and WiFi, log burning stove (with plenty of logs on site for your use) and iPod dock. The spacious modern fully fitted kitchen is equipped with fridge, freezer, microwave, dishwasher, electric oven and halogen hob and has a dining area with table and chairs for six. There is a spacious ground floor bedroom with a kingsize bed, flatscreen TV and DVD player, and a cloakroom with WC and basin. Stairs lead from the hallway to two ensuite bedrooms on the first floor. There is a stunning kingsize bedroom with a Victorian wrought iron bed and en suite bathroom with bath, WC and basin, and a second bedroom with a refurbished Victorian wrought iron twin beds (that can be joined) and en suite shower room with large walk in shower, WC and basin.
Bryn Eithin is set in its own generous and private garden, which is not directly overlooked and has views towards the Aran mountain range in south Snowdonia. It is located next to a smallholding with sheep, chickens (free range eggs available), horses, dogs and cats. The garden has a patio with table and chairs for six and a charcoal barbecue. A lawn and slate pathway lead to the end of the garden with a second sitting area with picnic table. Ample off-road parking is available. Bike storage/wash available. Horse stabling also available at small extra cost.
Please note the open tread stairs make the most of the light airy hallway but this means those with small toddlers will need to be aware of the steps. There are also a few steps from the hall up to the kitchen and down from the hall into the lounge. Bryn Eithin and the neighbouring cottage, Bryn Eithin Bach, are separated by a courtyard and each has private gardens. Together both properties sleep 8 guests. 10% discount if booked together.
