This lovely second floor maisonette has sensational views of Swanage Bay and beyond to the Isle of Wight. Situated on The Parade you are literally a stone's throw from the waters edge! This well equipped property is perfect for a family (maximum 5 guests), being only minutes from the beach and town centre.

With the benefit of a decked sun terrace at the rear of the property complete with patio furniture, sit and relax watching the sun go down after a day at the beach.

A quick 1 minute walk from Seagulls View will take you to the town centre with its vibrant mix of independent retailers, restaurants and galleries, beautiful sandy beach and Victorian Pier. Durlston Country Park and Castle is less than a mile away, as is the South West Coastal Path leading along the majestic Jurassic Coast.

Further afield you can explore more of Dorset with a visit to the county town of Dorchester with its roman townhouse, Victorian borough gardens and Brewery Square. Within a short drive you can visit Corfe Castle, Arne and Studland.

Two single beds (which can be converted into a king-size bed - please select at the time of booking), two bedside tables, chest of drawers, wardrobe, hairdryer, full length mirror, plus extra fold-up full size single bed.

We aim to visit this apartment every year. Its perfect - park up and dont use the car for a few days. Plenty of walks and bars and restaurants. The apartment is lovely, the view is amazing. Everything you need in the kitchen, home from home. Love it!

Our second year here and we loved it even more! The absolute perfect location and so comfortable with everything you need provided. I love the layout and the patio area is fab. Absolutely loved our stay we will be back again!

A lovely cottage, right on the sea front with the advantage of it's own parking space. There's a few stairs up to the flat but the benefit is the most amazing views over the bay. The sunrises are particularly spectacular. The cottage has pretty much everything you need, washing machine/dryer, small dishwasher, iron & ironing board. There's even somRead moree beach chairs and mats and equipment to use. It's also close to the centre of things in Swanage with several pubs restaurants and pubs within a very short walk. Close buy are Studland beach for swimming, Kimmeridge bay for fossils, Monkey world and we did a fishing trip from Swanage pier. Hide

The location was very convenient for the beach and town centre shops. Only slight downsides were parking - you have to get expert at tucking in well and turning in small spaces, the stairs - only a problem if you are getting on in age and your family want you to carry all the bags up and down, and the proximity to bars which were a little noisy on Read moreFriday night. It is so beautifully positioned right on the sea-front with exceptional views, we swam in the sea every day, the beach has just been awarded blue flag beach of the year 2023! Only a medium-sized car, or preferably small, can, however, be manoevered into the car parking space. The property is central to facilities that Swanage offers, with uninterrupted views of the bay. The car did not move from the front parking as we used the easily accessed bus service when we travelled out of Swanage. We found that pre-booking for dining out was the norm.
