This cottage was absolutely gorgeous. It was incredibly spacious, very clean, and came with most of what you would need. My partner and I stayed here for a week and the local area was beautiful. Newtown feels bustling at peak times, the scenery is beautiful, and there are trains from Caersws to Shrewsbury and Aberystwyth. We had days out to both ofRead more these places and had a wonderful time. There are loads of farm shops and local produce to be bought locally too. The site was wonderful, with a pretty pond, sheep wandering around, and gorgeous hills - with zero light pollution on clear jights for stargazing. There's a lovely jam store at the house opposite the park which sells homemade jams for very cheap prices too. The cottage felt extremely homely and was incredibly easy to get comfy in. The kitchen appliances were easy to use and worked well - although the oven is definitely a bit weaker than our one at home, so just be mindful of having to cook things in it slightly longer than you'd expect.
