A beautiful holiday apartment in Southwold with a gold award for quality, beautiful interiors, pretty balcony and private parking 

Postmasters is an outstanding Edwardian apartment occupying the first floor of a prestigious period property on the High Street. Interiors are elegant and stylish with high quality furnishings. Decorated in a neutral palette, this two bedroom self catering holiday home is all on one level. The spacious living area has large bay windows overlooking the high street - Perfect for people watching! comfy sofas, dining table and chairs and a lovely working open fireplace. This bright and airy room  has access onto a small balcony overlooking the High Street. The main balcony is to the rear and is south-facing sun trap furnished with a couple of cushioned chairs and a dining table and chairs for four, a lovely private spot to sit with a coffee and watch the world go by. The kitchen is very well equipped with everything you need for your self catering seaside holiday and the two bedrooms are beautiful, the principal bedroom has a super-king size bed and the second a king size bed which can be converted into twin beds on request. 

The independent shops, cafes, pubs and the popular Swan Hotel and Sutherland House are right on the doorstep. Stroll along the prom with its pastel shade beach huts, and visit the iconic pier and harbour. There are some lovely walks on the doorstep with easy access to the common and a nearby footpath takes you down to the harbour with the foot ferry to Walberswick (summer only). Don't forget that the beach is never very far away!

Postmasters is perfect for a family or two couples looking for a quality holiday home on the Suffolk coast with all amenities close at hand.

Why we love this property...  coastal living in a great location. Everyone can do their own thing and meet up for lunch at the pub or a picnic on the beach!

Southwold Central - The properties located in central Southwold are all within minutes of the market place, with the elegant Swan Hotel, an excellent range of small shops including a greengrocers with fresh local produce, family butcher and delicatessen. The upper promenade is ideal for a peaceful stroll at any time of the year and provides quick access to the beach and of course, the lighthouse in the town is a good landmark. There is also easy access to the common and a nearby footpath takes you down to the harbour with the foot ferry to Walberswick (summer only). Don't forget that the beach is never very far away!

This apartment was comfortable, safe, and very central. We really enjoyed our stay. All fixtures and fittings were good quality and the beds so very comfortable. We loved the outlook at the front of the building and the rooms were lovely and bright.

The apartment was absolutely beautiful, beautifully decorated, amazing space and fantastic location. Highly recommend and would stay again. The owners thought of everything in this apartment, beautiful artwork, fine crockery, felt spoilt.

Lovely property in the centre of Southwold, close to cafes and shops and only a short walk to the beach. Spacious, clean, comfortable and well equipped. Easy to use central heating system, kept us cosy on chilly October days.
