A very quirky and well designed conversion making the corn bin a very unusual property to stay in. A great location for lots of interesting and historic places to visit nearby. Good also for the coast. Good secure outdoor space for dogs and immediate access to onsite/offroad walks.

Very spacious and well furnished property, In the summer there will be plenty of scope for countryside walks but in the winter due to the weather these are restricted. The Cornbin is however very cosy and warm so the weather does not affect the experience.

We had a very comfortable stay. It was lovely and warm with beautiful views of the countryside from the living area. It was very well equipped and it was nice having a bathroom/shower room on each floor. We stayed over New Year and had a wonderful time. The location was perfect for what we wanted to do - visit the coast for beach walks and also to visit Battle Abbey. The silo has that quirky appeal but is also well equipped and comfy - and more spacious inside than we expected! Think we will be back sometime, we loved it.

It was our second stay at the Corn bin. We returned as we loved our first stay here. The area is so peaceful. The owners are lovely and polite, but leave you to get on with things, which I like. The enclosed fence around the cottage was a new addition this year which was most helpful. Perfect for allowing our dog to enter the garden alone. Friends laughed when we told them we were staying in a converted grain silo but were shocked when they saw pictures of it. Honestly, the conversion is brilliant, and the Corn Bin is like a tardis. The bed was very comfy, the sitting room was peaceful with lots to look at through the windows, the kitchen was spotless and fantastically well-equipped. It even had a sharp sabatier knife! We had daily chats with the horses and the light aircraft. There is loads to do in the area and the night skies over the airfield are dark and starry. We were happy, our dogs were happy. Really great location and peaceful until the planes move around. Not a very busy airfield so not a big problem with noise. Dog owners need to know the garden is not enclosed so not safe to let dogs out if not on lead, especially if planes are being moved. Stairs are quite steep but manageable. Great private walks around the farm grounds to let dogsRead more run free and a safe enough distance from the airstrip in case of plane activity.
