Lazyjacks is a fully renovated and charming Aldeburgh holiday cottage with a lovely garden. This traditional coastal cottage on the outside has modern and beautiful interiors which have been created with easy self-catering holidays in mind for its guests. The sitting room provides a relaxing retreat with a cosy corner style sofa, wood flooring and a charming woodburner encased by the chimney breast. Lazyjacks has a separate kitchen and dining room – the dining room being spacious and a great space to enjoy any meal. Through to the kitchen area, small but perfectly formed, the modern kitchen facility with an eye-catching, colourful tiled splashback, has all essentials needed for cooking up a feast. Also on the ground floor is the modern bathroom suite with a white and dark green colour palette reflected in the bathroom tiles, bathroom panel and door.  This facility offers flexibility for families including an over-bath shower as well as a hand-held shower. Stripy carpeted stairs lead up to the first floor where the two cosy bedrooms can be found. There's a choice of a double bed or twin single beds for a great night's sleep. It's clear to see the high level of accommodation at this pet-friendly cottage, all within walking distance of all the amenities Aldeburgh offers.

This delightfully renovated cottage is a cosy base for couples or families visiting the lovely seaside town of Aldeburgh and the surrounding Suffolk coastline. The town which is half a mile away boasts Georgian architecture and has independent cafes and shops so you can browse everything from clothes to antiques. Soak up some culture at the Aldeburgh Museum or The Red House where local musician Benjamin Britten composed. Take a stroll along the colourful promenade to the pebbled beach where fishermen sell their fresh wares. Located in an Area of Outstanding Beauty, you’re surrounded by nature reserves and stunning scenery. Fancy a day trip? Visit the seaside village of Thorpeness (2.5 miles), where there’s an artificial lake that you can row on as well as a myriad of trails over the heath and common land.

We really enjoyed our stay at Lazyjacks. The location was fantastic, with easy access to the beach, town centre and main road routes. It was also very handy for popping to the supermarket for supplies. We did not always manage to find a parking spot on the road itself but there was ample parking in side roads slightly further up. The cottage was Read morea perfect size for two people and was generally well kitted out. The garden was great to avoid having to take the dogs on leads for their evening toilet trip. We found the bed to be very comfortable and there was plenty of storage space for luggage. Hide

Enjoyed our stay. The property is easy walking distance for the centre of Aldeburgh with the co-op and Tesco just a couple of minutes walk away. The red house is also easy to reach on foot and we explored country footpaths away from the town that we hadn't noticed before. Cottage was very cosy and well located for walks into countryside or around Aldeburgh. Parking was not too bad, occasionally needed to park in next street requiring about 200 steps or so. Tesco and co-op very close and convenient
