If you have ever dreamed of a cottage in the country then it will probably have been just like Rose Cottage. This delightful, welcoming cottage, situated down a leafy country lane, was restored to enhance its full character and traditional features with beamed ceilings, wood floors and a woodburner.  It includes a well equipped modern kitchen, comfy sofas, contemporary furniture as well as the more classic cottage style.  With light decor, lovely fabrics in the bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a quiet location, Rose Cottage is sure to tick all your boxes for a holiday to recharge your batteries. Despite its rural location, the cottage is only 4 miles from Padstow, the spectacular north Cornish coast and some wonderful surfing beaches. The Ring o' Bells pub in St Issey village and the Journeyman Restaurant at Mellingey Mill are less than a mile away.  The cottage is situated on the route of The Saints' Way which dates back over 1,500 years and was once used by Celtic monks.  This scenic walking trail provides fantastic views along the way and is also rich in wildlife - it is a great favourite with walkers and eventually leads to Padstow in one direction, Fowey in the other.

We equipped cottage in a great location for visiting all areas of Cornwall. Walking from your doorstep for those that like to walk. Dog friendly garden. We were a party of 5 adults and found it to be more than big enough for our stay. Great value for money too.

We had a lovely stay at Rose Cottage, it's located in a tiny hamlet on the Saints Way. Good enclosed garden for dogs, with walks from the door. Everything you need for a comfortable stay, including comfy beds. Location was a little bit "out of the way" we had to drive some distance to the beaches and pubs. Overall though, a lovely little cottage.
