It’s just a short walk to the well-known surfing beach in Croyde from this beautiful three-bedroomed property. Longfield Beach House is situated down a private drive just a few minutes’ walk away from the beach and has amazing views over the village to the dunes and sea from the decked upstairs balcony. The open-plan living and kitchen area feels light and airy thanks to the windows and patio doors opening out onto the garden a woodburner in the lounge area provides extra warmth on cooler evenings. There are plenty of comfortable seats and the high-gloss white kitchen units provide enough storage space. There is a double bedroom with an en-suite shower room on the ground floor, giving anyone in the group who prefers to have accommodation on one level a place to sleep. The en-suite shower room has Jack and Jill doors so there is access from the living space and also from the bedroom. Upstairs there are two further bedrooms – a double and a twin – both with televisions, and also a family bathroom with a separate shower cubicle. The double bedroom has patio doors leading out onto a decked balcony with stunning views.

Outside, Longfield Beach House benefits from a great space which has been imaginatively designed with entertainment in mind. There is a great decked area with a barbecue area for disposable barbecue trays and an artificial grassy area with a beach hut full of outside games. The village centre just 10 minutes away with its array of eateries and shops,also there are plenty of places to hire wetsuits, surf boards, canoes and fishing equipment without having to leave the village.

The house was cold. The underfloor heating didnt make any room warm. We were cold for the three full days we were there. There was what appeared to be sand on the bed sheets in the downstairs bedroom. There were used towels left in the upstairs bedroom!! I booked and paid for the property and am a recovering alcoholic. Maybe check with the client bRead moreefore a bottle of alcoholic fizz is left for them. Milk would have been more appreciated so we could have had tea or coffee when we arrived. There were only two teabags left in the box for your 4 guests. We were at your property last year and very much enjoyed our stay. Things were totally different this year. Hide

Lovely holiday home, great location for beach and Croyde village. The roof deck is quite special. Sadly end of holiday spoiled by no hot water and no support available. I personally can't recommend as felt let down by lack of action when we had a problem.

Fabulous week had by myself husband and grown up children who live either end of the country. The layout made it a fun time to always be with one another yet space when we needed. Location was superb, close to the village for a walk to eat at one on the lovely restaurants in the village and just 5-8 minutes to the beach. We would 100% retuRead morern to this property . 10/10 Hide
