Bryniau Pair Ucha Cottage is a single storey modern detached cottage, located on a farmyard but looking out over expansive countryside views, close to the hamlet of Pandy Tudur, 2 miles from Gwytherin. This is a peaceful rural location, with walking from the door through the hills of the Hiraethog range, lovely scenery, excellent bird watching, wildlife and a short drive to the Snowdonia National Park. 7 miles to Llanrwst, 12 miles to Betws-y-Coed and 15 miles to Conwy.
The Cottage: is all on one level. Guests really enjoy the peace and tranquillity of this location. It’s a place to recharge the batteries. Welcome package on arrival (including local treats and logs for the log burner).
Electricity, gas central heating and WiFi is included. Modern wooden floor throughout.
Open plan Kitchen and Living Room: An open plan room with glass patio doors so that guests can enjoy the wonderful countryside view. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob with extractor hood, microwave, toaster, kettle, large fridge-freezer, dishwasher and washing/drying machine. There is a table and dining chairs for two. In the sitting area of the room is a log-burner, sofa, rug, 41” smart TV and side table.
Bedroom: There is one master bedroom with a modern king sized bed, wardrobe, chair, rug and other accessories. Bedside USB ports. Bed-linen provided.
Bathroom: A well equipped bathroom with a large walk in shower, WC, basin, large illuminated LED mirror and heated towel rail. Towels provided.
Outside: To the front is an enclosed patio area with garden furniture (table and chairs) looking out to towards the quiet countryside. Guests also have access to the small field in front of the cottage.
Parking: In front of the cottage.
This area boasts many attractions within a short drive. Llanrwst is the nearest town with walks by the river and plenty of tea rooms, pubs and restaurants, and the fascinating Gwydir Castle and gardens where guided visits can be arranged. The popular village of Betws-y-Coed is known as the gateway to Snowdonia, with mountain biking, walking, shops, cafes and pubs. The pretty Conwy valley has the National Trust's Bodnant Gardens, Bodnant Welsh Food centre and the new Surf Snowdonia surf and splash park in Dolgarrog, 10 miles. Further down the Conwy valley is Conwy itself, a lovely walled town and castle nestled on the estuary with boat trips, coastal walking and cycling and some historic properties to visit. A little further afield is Blaenau Ffestiniog, 20 miles, with the Ffestiniog Railway, slate caverns and the world-famous Zip World Titan and Bounce Below underground trampolines. Approximately 15 miles to Conwy and the North Wales coast.
