In a wooded valley close to the popular beach resort of Perranporth, Smugglers Cottage is within a 10 minute walk of the local beach, where you can swim or surf or even relax in the bar on the sand! This lovely South East facing Victorian semi detached cottage has an open plan lounge/dining room with beamed ceiling and view across the valley to the golf course. Perranporth is an ideal location for exploring the local area and Smugglers is ideally situated to enjoy all the area has to offer but also secluded enough to be able to relax and unwind.

GROUND FLOOR:
Open plan lounge/diner: Two comfortable settees, coffee table, TV, countryside views.  Dining table and chairs.
Kitchen: Electric cooker with ceramic hob, Dishwasher, microwave, fridge (small freezer compartment) and washer/dryer.

FIRST FLOOR:
Bedroom 1: Double bed, pine chest of drawers, bedside units, lamps and wardrobe.
Bedroom 2: Two single beds, pine chest of drawers and wardrobe
Bathroom: Bath, separate shower cubicle, basin and WC.

GARDEN & PARKING: Large private garden, views across countryside. Parking provided for one car. Parking provided for one car with EV charging point.


Power and Heat: Electricity included. Electric night storage heaters. EV charging point, charged at the end of your stay depending on usage and can be paid by cash or BACs on departure.
Bedding and Linen: Pillows & duvets included.  Bed linen provided, towels not provided.
Baby Equipment: Cot and highchair available on request, please order in advance.
Shop: 0.4 mls Pub: 0.4 mls

NOTES: No smoking, no pets, no short breaks. WiFi provided. Mobile reception varies. Access to Smugglers is over 80 metres of unmade section of driveway, unsuitable for sports cars and large vehicles!

Great location and house with more than expected home comforts. Lovely touches such as basics of coffee & tea, washing liquid, dishwasher stuff etc. Perfect for heading into Perranporth for beach days or further field for exploring Cornwall. Definitely a tight squeeze up the lane - we managed with our large Tesla Y though (& so easy to be able Read moreto charge!) We did a Sainsburys delivery, but just met at the bottom of the lane as no chance of a van getting up to the house! The weather wasnt good enough for enjoying the garden, but looks a perfect spot for evening drinks outside! Hide

Very peaceful location with the added bonus of having lots of local amenities within walking distance. The owners next door very friendly but not intrusive

Cottage was clean, comfortable and well appointed. We were met by the owners (and their cat) who were friendly and made us feel welcome. The cottage is well situated for the beach, which is only a few minutes walk down the hill. Parking space for one car is accessed up a narrow lane, with a sharp right turn into spot. There are shops, for food and Read moreprovisions nearby. Overall, an ideal location for a vacation by one of the best Cornish surfing beaches. Hide

Great cottage. Well kitted out and unlike others I have stayed in with dishwasher tablets, cleaning equipment etc. lovely old features so very enjoyable.

We stayed at this cottage for 1 week with our 2 boys, aged 9 & 15. The cottage was perfect, well equipped with everything we needed. The location of the cottage is in an ideal spot peaceful and away from the centre of Perranporth, only 10 minutes walk to the beach and shops with a park on route for the boys to play in.

Smugglers Cottage is excellent. The house was clean on arrival, well furnished. Even though you're on the fringe of Perranporth, it was so quiet it felt like being out in the countryside. Hosts were friendly and welcoming and we would certainly book Smugglers again.

I was in a Mondeo and it was a VERY tight squeeze up the lane! A long car needs a bit of manoeuvring up a combined very steep gradient and round (almost a u turn) onto the actual driveway. Soon got used to it, and reversing out to leave for a day out is quite easy. Probably need someone outside guiding you if you don't have sensors.
