This comfortable and homely cottage is situated in a very peaceful mews close to Walmer Castle and the seafront with local shops, restaurants and pubs close by. The cottage comfortably sleeps three and has a nautical theme with lovely old pictures of sailing ships and unusual maritime pieces. The larger town of Deal is only a mile away with its pretty conservation area, independent artisan shops and a great choice of good places to eat, plus the lovely pier for a stroll to enjoy the sea air. There is a mainline railway station both at Walmer and Deal with services to London and the Channel port of Dover. This area is great for coastal walks and popular for rowing and dinghy sailing, you can also still buy your fish straight from the beach at some of the old fishermen's shacks. Shop: 500 yards  Pub x 2: both within 200 yards Coast: 100 yards

We were extremely pleased with this delightful mews cottage which had everything (and more) that we could want. It is situated in a very quiet mews and very close to the beach. We had a little blip with the central heating but spoke to the owner who was extremely helpful and arranged for a plumber to call in about an hour. We would say that this isRead more the nicest holiday accommodation we have stayed in, and we have stayed in many. Definitely recommended and wouldnt hesitate to stay there again. Hide

The cottage was lovely and very comfortable. The location is fabulous, just a few minutes walk from the beach. The kitchen was well equipped, the bathroom, whilst small had a good size shower and the bed was comfortable. Overall we really liked the cottage.

Pretty, comfortable & very well appointed cottage. It was also really helpful to have a dedicated parking space & the property was just a 5 minute walk to the sea. Walmer & Deal are great places to stay, both in themselves & being close to so many lovely places on the Kent coast.

Excellent location close to the seafront and within walking distance of a few local shops and cafes. Deal is very close and the place for supermarkets and more amenities.

Comfortable accommodation ideally situated for coastal walks in combination with public transport. We scarcely used the car during our stay as Deal, with its shops and cafes, is only a short walk away along the seafront
