Amber Rose is a stylish, sophisticated one bedroom first floor apartment. The apartment is well-equipped and furnished to a high standard. The lounge, diner is light, comfortable and spacious with views to the sea. The master bedroom is modern but elegant with a king size bed. Ideally positioned on the West Cliff area close to the promenade and the beach, it is only a 5 minute stroll away from the town centre and all that Whitby has to offer; restaurants, bistros, shops pubs and cafes. Ideal for a romantic getaway and a central base to explore the surrounding coastline and villages.

This is a great first floor flat that has been well decorated and furnished. It is comfortable, well equipped and in a brilliant location close to the sea front and Whitby town centre. This is one of the best cottages I have stayed in and will definitely book again.

I have never stayed at Amber Rose before and was pleasantly surprised. We felt really comfortable there and would definitely stay there again if we go to Whitby. Our rescue dog had not stayed away from home before and we wondered how he would settle. We neednt have worried as he made himself at home very quickly so we could all relax! Beautiful spacious flat in a great location. All the furniture, bed, bedding, TV's and Wi-Fi were great but felt like the minor details were overlooked. There was only one tiny dish cloth and one tea towel and for the week which was not enough. The flat was described as decorated for Christmas and it wasn't which was disappointing. We contacted thRead moree owners to ask why and we were told it was because some people don't celebrate it and they were not dressing it to "ensure inclusivity for all". There was lots of communication before we arrived so we could have been informed about this and as we do celebrate Christmas we had to go out and buy a tree, lights and decorations. There was also no welcome pack except for one packet of biscuits which we found unusual as most places usually provide one especially at Christmas. All in all a great place to stay and with a few extra touches it would be a 10/10 Hide

This is a fabulous apartment in a great location. Wonderful sea views and far from the madding crowds down in the town. We have never rented an apartment where so much attention to detail has been thought of. Chargers, sewing kits, dog beds, bowls, tissues. Everything you need when you think youve forgotten something. The Amber Rose is well located in Whitby and tastefully decorated throughout. Everything was provided for our stay which was greatly appreciated. We would recommend this property to other guests looking for a seaside holiday. We booked this property from New Zealand and weren't disappointed with anything. We enjoyed our weekend at amber Rose the owners have put alot of work into the cottage and they thought of everything. We did hear a lot of noise from the flat above which was the only downside we was out most of the time so we tried not to let it worry us.other than that it was faultless.

Communication prior to arrival had been very good however there had not been any mention of the road directly outside the property being closed or any comments about sewer work taking place, this had been going on for two weeks prior to our arrival and was due to continue for at least another two weeks, when the issue was raised with the owner theyRead more commented that the noise was slight ? This apartment is fantastic, it has everything you need, very clean, very plush fixtures and fittings and is actually bigger than the photo looks. Its very close to the Whale Bone so youre only 5 minutes away from the centre. I would definitely book again without hesitation.

Amber Rose was immaculate inside and the dcor beautiful. Everything was well thought out even the dog bowls in the cupboard. The walk in shower was amazing! The sofas so plush and bed so comfy! Central for everything, cant praise it highly enough for location. We must have been to this apartment 8 times to attend the Northern Soul weekend as it is in a prime position for the Pavilion. It's always been well equipped, tasteful and very comfy and now, under new ownership, has been redecorated very nicely. Love the new front door, it makes it look more inviting.

This holiday accommodation is located on the 2nd floor, easy access, very close to town centre with on street parking with parking scratch cards provided for each day of our stay.

The accommodation was faultless and the owners quick response when my husband thought the hot water wasnt working was very swift . Ive rated 4/5 because it is expensive . Ive no reason not to recommend to friends but I would recommend other companies too
