A comfortable house in a good central location. But this meant a lot of road and train noise. Offsetting this, a short walk into town centre and all amenities. And the on-site parking was very useful, but dont bring a large car!

This was a great cottage and so convenient for exploring Rye itself (which is a beautiful historic town). Would absolutely recommend the cottage to potential users. Description on website is very accurate. Beautifully clean on arrival, with small welcome package of essentials. Many thanks for a great 3 night stay.

A comfortable and surprisingly spacious cottage in a great location. A short walk into town and all its attractions and shops, and near the railway station. A handy location for visiting the local area. The cottage is well equipped with a good sized fridge and freezer. Considering its central location the Mews is very quiet. We visited at ChristmasRead more and the car park was empty, I wouldn't want to park a large car if the Mews was busy as it would be very tight. The wi-fi was very good. We had a nice welcoming pack with milk, eggs, bread and biscuits - a nice touch. A minor grouse is that the pillows are lumpy and the bath towels a bit skimpy. Overall we had a great stay. Hide

A lovely holiday home, well-appointed and homely. It was a great place for our week's stay, enjoying spending time in the property and around Rye and the area. Coming from a similar property, the two of us were very pleased to be in a place that was more modern (compared to the characterful but old/low/less insulated/expensive cottages around). HadRead more everything we needed and found the beds comfortable. There is a bit of road noise but not disturbing (will depend very much on what you are used to). We heard no other noise from people/neighbours. It is located on the edge of the town centre (which we appreciated) so a slight walk into the very centre but only a slight one - Rye is small! Being in a private cul-de-sac means there is no tourist footfall past your windows which there is in other places in the centre. A parking space right outside is highly valuable. Needs a bit of minor maintenance TLC but not an issue. We highly recommend it and we would definitely stay again. Thanks. Hide
