St George's, situated within the 'Lemain Garden Apartments', is ideal for a couple looking to explore this beautiful part of the county. This delightful, first floor apartment, has wonderful views of the sea from a number of angles. There is an open-plan living area and a small, private terrace to the rear of the property - fantastic for sitting out in the evenings looking over to the view of St Georges Island and the sea beyond.  Situated just a couple of minutes’ walk from the beach and only a 10 minute walk to the little Looe ferry which takes you to all the pubs, restaurants and shops East Looe has to offer. This apartment can be conveniently booked with other apartments in the 'Lemain Garden Apartment' building.

Our 8th stay at St George's and again a fantastic stay. Everything in apartment we needed. Lovely to sit on patio at rear enjoying sun and look over at Looe island. Steps up to apartment kill you on 1st day but you soo get used to them. Easy walk in to town. Best (actually the only )place to get your pasties is Sarah's in East Looe. The long steep steps up to the property are savage, especially when carrying suitcases etc. Not sure that this was sufficiently emphasised in the literature.

Fantastic location, very clean and everything included that we needed. Tucked away but still just a walk away from the centre of Looe and well placed for walking along the South West Coastal Path. The weather wasn't nice enough to sit out on the balcony but looking forward to coming back and sitting out looking at Looe Island with a nice drink.

The apartment was ok just didn't realise so many steps. Need to be at least 20/30 years younger.

A lovely apartment with amazing views. The bed was really comfortable and it was nice to have the patio area at the back. Would stay here again.

As a last minute booking in what appeared to be a small apartment our expectations were limited - so we were delighted to find a spacious property with a great view and all amenities provided. A bit of a challenge lifting a fortnight's worth of luggage up the fifty steps and slopes from the car but manageable thereafter. Overall, a wonderful stRead moreay in a very comfortable property. Another great stay (think it's around 6 now) at St Georges. Everything you might need is in the apartment and more! The steps are a killer the 1st day but you soon get used to them. Very clean and comfy. The small terrace is lovely to sit on out of the wind and in the sun. Great ;location with lovely view from dining table out over the bay, short wRead morealk in to town and easy to drive any where. Take a walk up to Hannafore Kiosk along the front for a hot chocolate, sandwich, ice cream and much much more. Pop in to town and visit Sarah's Pasties (in our opinion the ONLY place to buy them) Hide

Lovely clean, comfortable apartment with a good view of the sea from the dining area. The down side for us was the climb from the carpark to the apartment, especially with luggage, it was quite a challenge - lots of steps and very steep!

We knew there were steps to the property but it would have been good to know that there were 50. It was great to have a parking space so we could walk to the beach but we did not realise it was so far (as I cannot carry beach chairs far), further than the public car park would have been. We were unable to access the key and phoned the emergency number given three times in two hours for help.We were told that they were trying to contact the owner. The residents of one of the other apartments offered to help and managed to get through to Richard the owner straight away! Very well equipped. Good views. Expensive. Many steps up would put us off a further booking. Handrail midway is overgrown by rosemary bush - too low and not long enough at top for those who need it. Bed is a bit saggy. Fridge was very frosted up and didn't work well for a day, we had to freeze some of our food to be safe. We notified caretaker who Read morewas on holiday but very swift to reply and said she would ask owners to make contact which they didn't. Reported it to Cornish Horizons office in W Looe, but still no contact from owners. Hide
