The Bothy is a delightful rural retreat, surrounded by wildflower meadows, pastures and woodland adjacent to Hemsted Forest. The beautifully-restored detached cottage is situated on a small, peaceful, working farm, enjoying lovely views of the surrounding countryside. On hot summer days - when you have tired of sitting in your sun trap patio - the climate-control air-conditioning in the cottage is a welcome relief! Despite its secluded location, The Bothy is close to the picturesque country town of Cranbrook, and popular Tenterden with its varied mix of restaurants, shops, pubs, coffee shops and leisure centre. Ideally-situated for visiting the many National Trust houses and gardens. Guests are invited to enjoy the owner's private wood and property or relax in the shepherd's hut.
