Tucked away in a quiet cul de sac in the pretty village of Georgeham, Salar Cottage is within a short stroll of two traditional pubs and friendly local stores. Just over a mile of country lanes takes you to the absolutely stunning beach and coastline of Putsborough, found at the westerly end of Woolacombes' golden sands and one of the area's best kept secrets! Croyde village is less than two miles away with a lovely mix of thatched cottages, pubs, restaurants and colourful surf shops where the beach path meanders down to beautiful Croyde Bay, so popular with families and surfers at any time of year.

Several steps lead down through pretty front gardens to the front entrance and into a spacious hallway.  The stylish living /dining room has comfy leather sofas and a welcoming wood burning stove, perfect for cooler evenings or cosy out of season breaks. The well equipped kitchen and utility room have everything you need and a convenient cloakroom is located off the hallway. Stairs rise up to three attractive bedrooms with under floor heating and a separate modern bathroom with white suite completes the accommodation.

The fully enclosed rear garden with lawn, mature trees and shrubs has as a fabulous decked patio area, just perfect for barbecues and leisurely al fresco meals. Salar Cottage is a real home from home holiday retreat, ideal for families or couples seeking a quieter base, yet within easy reach of all that this wonderful area has to offer.

Accommodation: From the roadside 16 steps lead down to Ground floor: Hall. Living /dining room with TV with freeview, DVD and wood burning stove. Kitchen with electric cooker, microwave and fridge/freezer. Utility room with dishwasher and washer/dryer. Cloakroom with WC and basin. First floor: Bedroom 1 with King. Bedroom 2 with Twin. Bedroom 3 with Single. Bathroom with bath, fitted shower over bath, WC and basin.

Facilities and Services: Linen and towels. Electric heating downstairs, underfloor heating in bedrooms. Complimentary basket of logs. Wi-Fi Broadband. No smoking. 2 Pets welcome. Highchair and travel cot. Garden furniture.  BBQ. Parking is available in Williamson Close (usually near the top of Salar’s steps) and in front of the garage (second from the left with the green door) . Short breaks available. Arr/Dep for weekly bookings is Friday.

Lovely little cottage - everything you need for a great stay. A little remote to find (sat nav took us up very narrow roads coming in - but the roads out to Croyde and beyond (the longer way) much easier for wider cars) Steep steps to property - front and out back, so perhaps not for anyone with walking issues, but the cottage is nicely laid out,Read more warm and cosy, and plenty of hot water. Lovely pubs with dining and nice village shop - all walking distance. Dogs loved the safe lawned garden - and were welcome in said pubs. Excellent 5 days spent at Salar Cottage. Great location for walking our two Spaniels on the local beaches. Two great pubs in Georgeham that serve really good food. Cottage very clean with all the facilities you may require.

Our 3rd visit, very comfortable and well equipped, parking permit for the village hall is a bonus as is closer and easier parking than in front of garage. Garden is secure which was great for the dog. Very helpful and friendly next door. Shop has reopened which is a bonus. Highly recommend the Rock Inn great food and atmosphere.

This was a lovely cottage to stay in on our family holiday. It was comfortable and felt like a home away from home. A perfect hub for lots of walking in the local area and easy access to nearby beaches!

Was at property for two weeks.Was seriously considering asking for an exchange after first week for two reasons.I could not let my dog roam in garden in case the neighbours dog to the left was out,an absolute beast and because of banging from the property to the left late at night.Property and its situation is fine otherwise.

Comfortable cottage, well equipped and easy to heat. Great location close to village shop and beautiful beach. We also really appreciated the enclosed garden with for our dog. Would definitely stay here again.
