A great location for walkers and cyclists, the owners live next door and are happy to advise on the best places to visit and provide maps The Yorkshire Coast, York and the Yorkshire Wolds are within easy reach for a day out.
The cottage is a converted barn and retains a great deal of its old character and charm with exposed beams and feature stonework. Tastefully decorated and comfortably furnished, the property is very well equipped. Ideal for families and groups of friends, there is a double and two single bedrooms. Outside there is a patio with large picnic table and a private garden - both overlook the surrounding woodland where the bird song from over 15 species of birds including buzzards, woodpeckers, flycatchers and owls can be enjoyed.
