This quirky Barn Conversion in a relaxing setting suited the needs of our week's holiday. Lots of space and a very roomy lounge area. The bedroom was spaceous and the bed very comfortable.

We, a family with 2 kids, have enjoyed our week at the Waterswallow cottage. The cottage is quaint and very comfortable. Its location perfect for hikes on the moors, the proximity to many pretty small villages, the steam train in Pickering and many other activities. The owners are very accommodating and friendly.

A fantastic quiet place to relax with everything provided. As it is in a central place it is perfect to visit places in all directions like York, Whitby, Scarborough, and up in the beautiful Moors. I would definitely recommend it to others and return myself.

Friendly, helpful and knowledgeable owners who live on site.and are easily contacted. A road is close by that is not overly busy and cannot be heard from inside the property, other than that the property is located in a peaceful country side location a short distance from the National park. The cottage is well equipped and looks like its been recenRead moretly updated, important points for us are comfortable beds, hot shower, cleanliness and being able to have a good night's sleep without disturbance, this cottage ticked all of those boxes and was quirky into the bargain! The rooms are laid out over three floors with two bedrooms on the top floor and the third on the ground floor along with the kitchen and shower room and comfortable lounge on the second floor, short staircases divide the floors. Because of its rural location transport is essential but we found it a great location for exploring the Yorkshire coast,York,Thirsk and the National park without too much driving. Would definitely recommend and book again. Hide
