A beautifully located, tranquil farmhouse in the hills. Perfect for our relaxing new years and to get to the local sites and seaside towns. Easy hike into the village and the pub (only tasted the drinks which were perfect refreshment). The house was warm, sealed from the gales and wood burning stove fantastic with plentiful logs supplied. The 3rRead mored bedroom with bunk beds isnt ideal for adults or older teens but perfect for young children due to the size. The beds were comfy. The single bathroom tired with poor shower water pressure. The kitchen well equipped (good fridge, freezer space, oven and hob). Would benefit from full sets of glasses and more cutlery. The grounds are a lovely size at the front and back with ample private parking. We loved the pool table in the adjoining games room. Good quality cues but the table felt was torn. The hot tub (definitely hot) was perfect (especially in the snow) for enjoying the views snd night skies. It was checked regularly which was very reassuring. The single track lane to the property was good quality tarmac (impressed with the general road quality in wales) and gritted ahead of the winter weather. Hide

Lovely cottage with plenty of room for the 4 of us. Very comfortable and had everything we needed. A beautiful little cottage with the most amazing scenery. A very lovely place for families and great location for accessing beaches and other places of interest. Local shop is a 10 minute drive with bigger supermarkets 30 mins drive. Our toddler loved waking up to seeing sheep everyday and the teenagers were entertained with pool, table tennis and Read morehot tub. It has Wi-fi, although it was intermittent at times. We had good 4G service on Vodafone so teenagers could still access movies and music on their devices when they wanted to. Lots of local pubs easily reached by a short drive, we highly recommend Dylans at Criccieth for dinner. The kids loved the stream train ride to Porthmadog, and trampolining in a cave was super fun (if not exhausting). We aren't a walking family so can't comment on trails and hikes but there are plenty! Good value for money. Hide
