The Laurels is a spacious detached bungalow in a quiet location that is only a ten minute walk from the many shops and restaurants in Holt. There are attractive gardens to the front and rear of the property and inside the accommodation is tastefully furnished, making this a comfortable and attractive base from which to explore the coast and countryside of North Norfolk. The charming Georgian town of Holt is the ideal base to tour North Norfolk and boasts a selection of interesting shops including antique shops and art galleries. On the edge of the town, the green flag awarded Holt Country Park has over 200 acres of woodland with nature trails and organised events. Bird watching is one attraction in the area with the bird sanctuary at Cley and the coastal villages such as Blakeney close by. The pretty seaside town of Sheringham is only six miles away.

Bungalow is well maintained, clean and in an excellent location. Stayed a number of times at Laurels and overall can recommend highly.

A lovely, spacious cottage which is well equipped. I wasn't sure about being in a town, but the cul de sac was quiet and the location very good for touring.

The cottage was fully equipped and very comfortable. Close enough to be able to walk to Holt and drive to the coast. Nice of wine on our arrival made us feel very welcome.

Lovely bungalow in an excellent location for visiting the North Norfolk coast. Holt was within 10 minutes slow stroll with lots of interesting shops. We didn't find Budgens until our last evening as it is tucked away. Bungalow had everything we needed, well equipped kitchen, plenty of seating, comfortable beds and a super shower. If there areRead more 6 of you staying you might find the fridge a bit small. We managed to sit in the garden a couple of times, very pretty with seating areas so you can follow the sun. Bus stop at the top of the road meant we could get to Cromer or Sheringham (without the 8.50 parking charges) both only a short distance away. Great accommodation in a great location. Hide

The bungalow is lovely and I believe this is our third visit. Very clean and well furnished with a beautiful garden. We seemed to have to put the heating on as it didn't appear to come on. That said would recommend the bungalow without any hesitation.

A splendid property to holiday in. We spent Christmas at the Laurels and it was home from home particularly after our bad luck year (home suffering flood damage) There were Christmas decoration on display, a super welcoming basket. There are all the facilities for cooking, dishwashing, clothes laundering. Logs for the lounge open fire I can still Read moreremember our cosy Christmas and Boxing days. Quiet location, private, peaceful and delightful back garden. Well maintained, very clean and spacious inside. Fully equipped kitchen. Best holiday accommodation we have ever had and will continue to return.
