This is the second time I've rented this wonderful cottage. For me a perfect location for cycling and walking with the added bonus of The Dragon Hotel for food and drinks. The local Spar shop will keep you in the essentials for the stay. Bunners hardware store in Montgomery is from another era, easy to spend too much time and money in there.

Fiddlers Cottage is a beautiful cottage, the owner went beyond to fit a stairgate for our toddler and the highchair was very useful. It is in a perfect location in the village and the parking directly outside was handy. The main bedroom was absolutely stunning with the 4 poster bed. We enjoyed our stay very much and would recommend to others.

Lovely cottage within walking distance of local shops, chip shop, restaurants, pub and the castle. The local Spar is well stocked for essentials and local produce. There are larger supermarkets a short drive away. Theres a walk just down the hill going out of town around 2 small lakes, which was great for the dog. This is through farmland wiRead moreth grazing sheep so leads are essential. Nice rural location to explore other parts of mid-Wales and beyond. If you have a car you can easily get around. The Llanfair-Welshpool railway isnt too far away and was a lovely way to spend half a day. Cottage itself is ideal for 2 people. It warms up quickly with the heaters and the log burner is available for chillier nights. If youre after a chilled out place to stay, this is ideal! Hide
