A lovely cosy cottage thats well located to enjoy area attractions. The house is picture perfect on the outside and offers peace and privacy, while also being within walking distance of the local pub. It was clean, comfortable and well equipped. We enjoyed the open log fire on our last night. The bathroom is located downstairs, but wasnt an iRead moressue for us. The cottage has a huge garden, which unfortunately we didnt get to enjoy due to the weather, but must be lovely during the spring/summer. The location is within easy driving distance of local historic towns and sites (Sutton Hoo is less than 15 minutes). We appreciated the comprehensive visitor info provided by the owner. Hide

A beautiful and quiet location, set in a large open garden, which is not, contrary to an earlier review, dog-secure. (The owners never claimed that it was so we have no complaints on that score). We were only two, but Im not sure how four would sit comfortably to watch the TV. The bedrooms are lovely, the lounge (subject to the caveat above) and kiRead moretchen fine, but people should be aware that the bathroom is downstairs and the bedrooms are upstairs with no en-suite. All-in-all we had a good week, thanks. Hide

A really wonderful stay in a pretty, well located cottage. The cottage is both nostalgic and modern-luxury in equal measure. The garden is beautiful, wrapping around the cottage and stretching up behind. My husband and I booked this cottage as it was close to my friend who was moving home and it meant her and her daughter could stay with us as tRead morehey needed, as it sleeps four. I paid the supplement so she could bring her dog too and the garden is very dog friendly and there are some great walks from the cottage. I am sure we will be booking Mill Cottage again soon. Hide

Wonderfully warm and peaceful cottage, with a lovely open fire for relaxing in front of in the evenings. Kitchen was fully equipped and all appliances were easy to use. Bathroom has a nice big bath and also has a nice power shower, both great after a decent day's walk! The main bedroom was very spacious and the large bed was extremely comfortable, Read moreresulting in a great night sleep. The large garden was fantastic, with lots of seats and benches throughout the garden to allow a different view at any time of day, and even though we stayed during a damp January/February it was still nice to be able to sit out in the garden in the morning whilst having breakfast and a cup of tea. Cannot fault the cottage or the location. Overall it was one of the best holiday cottages I have stayed in, and will return again! Hide

We really enjoyed our stay at Mill Cottage. Its a beautiful location that is very unspoilt. The property itself is modern but has a charm of days gone by and is very quaint. The bedrooms are a great size. The gardens are beautiful and large surrounded by great views. Perfect for a family of four and easily accessible to other parts of Suffolk.
