This modern, riverside, first floor apartment (lift and stairs both available) is situated on 'Whitehall Landing' in Whitby and a level walk into the old town. The apartment has been tastefully furnished and decorated to a high standard. From your seat in the deep-set window you can just catch a glimpse of the tidal River Esk. Designated parking is a great attraction in Whitby.

GROUND FLOOR:
Entrance: Stairs and lift which lead to the first floor As the property has a lift, it might be suitable for people with mobility problems.

FIRST FLOOR:
Entrance: Hallway leading to
Lounge/Kitchen/Diner: Fridge with ice box, electric cooker with grill/oven, microwave, washer/dryer.  TV with DVD basic SKY package with knowledge channels, iPod- docking station and radio/CD player.and dining table and chairs.
Bedroom: King-size bed, built-in wardrobe, bedside tables and drawers.
Bathroom: Bath, electric shower over the bath, toilet and washbasin.

Heating: Electric heating with temperature and time control.
Pets: Sorry, no pets. Not suitable for people with allergies as owner occasionally brings a dog.
Parking: Designated car parking space for one car. Please note there are no electric car charging facilities at the property. Cars must not be charged from the apartment or in the basement parking.
Short breaks: Accepted all year round.
Notes:  Towels are provided. Unlimited WiFi is available free of charge. No smoking at this property. Mobile phone signal is variable. Please note that no mobility scooters are allowed in the block.

Whitby
Whitby is a popular choice for visitors all year round. It is well known for its long sandy beach and delicious seafood. For a different day out, why not climb the famous 199 steps to reach the ruins of Whitby Abbey. It's said to have been the inspiration for Bram Stokers Count Dracula, and its gothic splendour is the perfect place from which to take in some truly stunning views over the town.

Whitby harbour is steeped in history and visitors can see where British explorer Captain James Cook first worked as an apprentice before setting sail and discovering Australia. The harbour is a buzz of activity and you can enjoy early mornings watching the fishing boats come ashore before getting first choice of their catch. There's always something happening throughout the town , and festivals and fairs are held throughout the year including Whitby Goth Festival, Whitby Folk Week and the Whitby Regatta.

This is a very comfortable flat and well equipped. It is a walk into town but I like the peace and quiet of been out of town. As I have stayed in this flat four times now I think that says how much I like it. I look forward to my next visit.

Only a 10 minute walk along the road to main area on the flat so ideal. Very clean and ideal for a couple with it being one bedroom flat

As parking in Whitby at the height of the holiday season is a nightmare the main initial 'selling point' for us was the designated parking space which, being adjacent to the property, was also particularly convenient. As I developed a slight mobility problem after booking the lift was a great boon too especially for heavier items of luggage. The Read moreapartment was very clean, light and pleasantly furnished; being keen cooks the well equipped kitchen was also appreciated. Would love to return next year. Hide

Very clean apartment, a short 15 minute walk to sea front. Quiet area to stay in, the lift is also a great advantage.

We have spent two holidays here this year a total of five weeks and really enjoyed it . Clean ,cosy and a flat walk into town . An excellent chippy nearby .

The flat was clean and tidy and all furnishing were in good condition It was in walking distance from Whitby Town Centre and there was a seating area outside the flat looking onto the river A great holiday with superb accommodation

This is a modern, comfortable apartment which is light and airy, and very clean. It's well placed on the east side of Whitby, near the boatyard and a 10-minute walk into the centre of town, with 3 good pubs en route. It's a 20-minute walk up Green Lane to the Abbey & brewery. There's a private parking space outside (which is well worth having in WhRead moreitby) and a lift inside the building. There's everything you'd want in the way of equipment - microwave, small fridge/freezer, toaster, washer/dryer and a good size TV with Freeview & Netflix. It's a great place for a couple, or someone travelling solo and I would definitely look to book there again when I return to Whitby. Hide

We had a wonderful week in this apartment. Very quiet place to stay but only a short walk into town. Lovely furnishings and all the equipment you need to have a lovely stay. Amazing coastal and river walks right from the doorstep. Will definitely book again.

The apartment was a really good standard of upkeep and very clean including the bathroom . A perfect apartment for a couple and we have booked for another two weeks in July it was that good . This is well worth a visit !

This is an amazing little apartment. Just a short walk into Whitby Town centre & comes with parking. The apartment is well equipped & spotlessly clean. We were extremely comfortable for our weeks stay. Brilliant value for money. We would definitely recommend & also return ourselves. Thank you.

Nicely located within 10 minutes walk of Whitby centre, a well accomodated flat for 2. Excellent base for touring North Yorks, would highly reccomend this property.

Very clean and tidy. 10 minutes walk to town . Parking great able to got out in car knowing you would be able to park on return. Just right for holiday requirements. Highly recommended!
