Extremely well equipped and comfortable house which is well placed for the lovely village and surrounding areas. Good food at both the Yew Tree and The Plough which are within easy walking distance. Stayed for Christmas 2023. 2 families. A beautiful house in a beautiful area and location - really oldy woldy and a lovely feel. Has everything we needed although a few niggles / things to suggest they are mentioned on the advert as below: - we were under the impression the picture of the front of the house was the property we had rented - not tRead morehe side door entrance being our main one. - we were not told that it was 2 properties within one, or if so this was not made clear at all - privacy; after arriving and realising our entrance was the side door and the main picture of the front of the house was not ours, when sitting in the lounge we had numerous people walking past the windows whilst sitting there which felt very uncomfortable and not very private. - the hot tub was great and we loved it! But it had been moved from the photos and wasnt on the patio. It was on the grass opposite and meant getting down the steps onto the grass with wet feet making it muddy feet. If its going this side it needs a mat or something rather than stepping directly onto grass Other than some of these things to suggest mentioning on the add we had a really lovely stay, great take away from carols plaice. Lovey touch with a welcome prosecco and Yule log - much appreciated. The property is gorgeous and even though the church bells rung a lot we got used to it and didnt bother us after a while. Thanks again and happy new year :0) Hide

People walked pass our kitchen whilst we were eating breakfast, several times. People staying at the retreat came into our kitchen aswell. The tumble dryer had that much lint in it, it was a fire hazard. The hoover and filter had not been cleaned, there was an error code showing. There were no tongs in the kitchen?
