We had a lovely stay at Greenbells the only issue is the lack of connection to outside world as no phone signal and no wifi and as a self employed book keeper who needed to work on occasions and be able to contact my family this was a pain.we had our dog sleeping downstairs but the curtains both upstairs and downstairs were too thin and let the ligRead moreht beam in through which meant we were up at the crack of dawn everyday. Location was nice just some bad roads to get used to but perfect for water sports being so close at the stithians lake and some lovely pubs not too far but you will definitely need a car! Hide

Very nice place, peace and quiet, pub was very friendly and comfortable. Lots of things to see around the area, but will need to drive. Lovely and cosy, dogs loved it.

The cottage was roomy and the bed very comfortable. The bathroom was nice and clean and the shower was a good size. It was in a quiet location and the owner was on hand for any needs during my stay. We were welcomed with a lovely cream tea which was a nice touch.

We were extremely disappointed with this property and honestly cannot recommend it in its current state. We had problems with the electrics when cooking using the hob. There was no evidence of regular electric safety checks and all the smoke alarms were out of date during our stay. There is an air fryer a microwave and a small fridge. There is a Read moredishwasher but no washing machine. There is no internet and only O2 had a signal. The only television which is a portable has a white line running through the picture. The living area is very small especially for four and using the kitchen table when extended out meant you couldnt get from the kitchen to the living area without moving it/ putting it down. There was mould, dust and cobwebs in places and it smelt musty and of damp. Overall we felt that it needed a deep clean, redecorating and refurbishing before it should be let. Hide
