Southwold Central - The properties located in central Southwold are all within minutes of the market place, with the elegant Swan Hotel, an excellent range of small shops including a greengrocer with fresh local produce, family butcher and delicatessen. The upper promenade is ideal for a peaceful stroll at any time of the year and provides quick access to the beach and of course, the lighthouse in the town is a good landmark. There is also easy access to the common and a nearby footpath takes you down to the harbour with the foot ferry to Walberswick (summer only). Don't forget that the beach is never very far away.

Lovely cottage, well equipped and a perfect location for walks on the beach or popping to the shops. Third time we have stayed in this house and it didnt disappoint.

This photos of the house on the website, do not do it justice, we loved the property, it was in a great location, very convenient to walk to the high street and the beach. We were really happy with our stay at Tradewinds. The location was particularly good being in close proximity to the High street and seafront, but in a quiet spot. The owners left a bag of provisions for us too which were much appreciated. An added bonus for us was that the house was lovely and warm - a cosy retreat when the wind outside was icy cRead moreold. Very comfortable property and very well equipped. Perfect location for exploring the local area with lots of lovely walks right on your doorstep plus all the amenities that Southwold town has to offer. Bonus to the property is having it's own car parking space as it does get very busy even in the October half term and weekends. 2nd stay at TradeRead morewinds and looking forward to our next visit. Very disappointing. Overall a very tired & musty smelling property which requires time spent on both general decoration & refurbishment to bring it up to the standard expected for the cost of renting this property. A great shame as in a very good location in a lovely seaside town.

Nice (if slightly dated house) in a great location, ideally situated for beach, town and golf course. Parking space was just perfect.

The parking place is a big plus in Southwold! The cottage has everything you could need and the welcome pack a nice touch.

Other than the front door entry (minor in the grand scheme of things) the property is cosy but plenty of room, well located in a nice quiet spot but also super accessible to the high street, shops and a short walk to the beach. The bedrooms were a decent size and the kitchen and dining area was well equipped and a lovely space. Weve stayed in a numRead moreber of places in Southwold and this was the best to date. If it was beachfront Im pretty sure it would be booked all year round! Would recommend and has the premium of private parking which in Southwold is almost priceless! Hide

Lovely accommodation, perfectly situated for exploring the surrounding area with plenty to see and do. Very comfy house with all the amenities you could want. Private parking to the rear of the property was an absolute bonus as parking in Southwold can be quite tricky at times. Would recommend this property and would book again.
