Offering more than your average holiday home, guests staying in this spacious town house can enjoy their own 3D blu-ray cinema room and a separate games room with pool table, selection of children's games and a wonderful vinyl record collection. With these unique amenities, 2 West Terrace is ideal for larger families, groups of friends and smaller parties that want to enjoy extra space and fantastic entertainment facilities.

Located on the west side of Whitby, the town centre, beach and the Spa Pavilion and theatre are all within easy reach. With private parking, a patio and gorgeous sea views from the large attic bedroom, this is a truly lovely property for a holiday or short break in Whitby.

Three steps lead up to the front door

BASEMENT:
A door in the hall leads down to a unique basement which has been fitted out with a 3D blu-ray cinema (seats 5), two settees, a record player with vinyl and a games room with a pool table and childrens' games. Washing machine. 

GROUND FLOOR:

Lounge: TV with Freeview and built-in DVD.
Kitchen/Diner: Gas hob and electric oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, slimline dishwasher with dining table and chairs. iPod docking station.
Cloakroom: Toilet and washbasin.

HALF LANDING:
Bathroom: Bath, shower over the bath, toilet and washbasin.

FIRST FLOOR: 
Bedroom 1: Double bed with chest of drawers and built-in wardrobe. 
Bedroom 2: Twin beds with chest of drawers and built-in wardrobe.
Bedroom 3: Single bed with small wardrobe.

SECOND FLOOR: 
Bedroom 4: Double bed, chest of drawers and small wardrobe with TV with Freeview and built-in DVD. The bedroom has large windows at both sides, one giving lovely sea views.
En suite: Shower, toilet and washbasin.

Pets: Two dogs welcome.
Garden: Enclosed sitting out area with a beach hut type shed to the rear of the property with table and 4 x bistro chairs.
Parking: Secure off-street parking for one car. Additional street parking for a second car - scratch card provided.
Heating: Gas-fired central heating.
Short breaks: Not accepted at peak times.
Notes: Please bring your own towels. Travel cot and highchair available. Washing machine in the basement. Unlimited fibre WiFi is available free of charge. No smoking at this property. Mobile phone signal is weak.

Second time staying at the property. Ideal for family get togethers and the games room is a great added bonus, we played pool most evenings of our stay.

The entire stay was amazing; we all thoroughly enjoyed it. The house was clean, homely and well-equipped with what we needed and more. We would definitely stay here again!

We have stayed at 2 West terrace 7 times and would recommend. Fantastic location, homely, lots of space and an enclosed yard for dogs and a car.

2nd time 2 West Terrace - Just as good 2nd time around. Great central position, fully equipped house, back yard very useful for 1 car and is a sun trap!

The choice was 2 caravans or rent a house in prime location. The right choice was the house, so much space! Teenagers loved the pool table and music. The oldies liked the peace. Location was great including parking! So close to the centre of Whitby. Kitchen had everything we needed, great to all sit around the kitchen table for meal times. BedsRead more were mega comfy. Second time at this property - enjoyed the games room and supply of entertainment - great location . A second set of keys would be useful . Liked the chairs for outside though limited space once a vehicle is parked . This time we easily found parking on the street nearby for the second vehicle .

The ability to park one of our cars in the rear was a great help as parking is always difficult! However I don't think a sitting area can truly be advertised and the table and chairs were in a woeful condition and not safe to use. Despite this, it was the only minor issue in a wonderful place!
