Located on the west side of Whitby, the town centre, beach and the Spa Pavilion and theatre are all within easy reach. With private parking, a patio and gorgeous sea views from the large attic bedroom, this is a truly lovely property for a holiday or short break in Whitby.

A door in the hall leads down to a unique basement which has been fitted out with a 3D blu-ray cinema (seats 5), two settees, a record player with vinyl and a games room with a pool table and childrens' games. Washing machine.

The choice was 2 caravans or rent a house in prime location. The right choice was the house, so much space! Teenagers loved the pool table and music. The oldies liked the peace. Location was great including parking! So close to the centre of Whitby. Kitchen had everything we needed, great to all sit around the kitchen table for meal times. BedsRead more were mega comfy. Second time at this property - enjoyed the games room and supply of entertainment - great location . A second set of keys would be useful . Liked the chairs for outside though limited space once a vehicle is parked . This time we easily found parking on the street nearby for the second vehicle .

The ability to park one of our cars in the rear was a great help as parking is always difficult! However I don't think a sitting area can truly be advertised and the table and chairs were in a woeful condition and not safe to use. Despite this, it was the only minor issue in a wonderful place!

Cottage is clean and equipped with everything you need. Having a dedicated parking space is a major plus. Location is excellent.

Really good location and once I found the knack off lining up my car to reverse in there was little difficulty in getting my fairly large Vauxhall Mokka safely in the enclosed drive/courtyard. The location could hardly be better, very close to the main shopping centre but still quiet enough. Very roomy house and although not a fan of modern art I fRead moreound the contrast between the house and some very traditional features and "quirky" art interesting. Beds were comfy enough though my wife found one of the sofas a bit uncomfortable. Well equipped with a good sized fridge freezer and the pool table was in surprisingly very good condition. My son also enjoyed using the small home cinema. The outside space is really just basically a parking space couldn't see me spending much time there though as I say Whitby town is close enough even if it is a rainy day. Hide

Beautiful house everything you need. Beautifully renovated to a high standard great for a family gathering. Games area and vinyl collection great fun. Host communicated brilliantly. Great to have parking. Welcome wine and biscuits a lovely touch. Great location.

Very comfortable, well equipped and well situated. The benefit of a games room in the basement made it an excellent space for our group of 4 adults and 3 teenagers.

The cottage was very clean, warm, spacious and very well equipped with everything we needed for a lovely stay over Christmas. The Christmas tree and decorations were appreciated as were the wine and biscuits on arrival! We enjoyed playing pool and listening to vinyl in the games room. Lovely warm and comfortable house, well equipped kitchen and large bedrooms, Useful downstairs loo too. You can always pick faults and the steep steps to the rear yard, without a handrail, were a bit dodgy in the frosty weather. But otherwise Id happily recommend.

Excellent location, short walking distance to beach and centre. Very comfy, clean and tastefully decorated with lots of space to eat and relax. Everyone enjoyed the pool table and records.
