The cottage is absolutely beautifulfull of character with its wooden beams, log burner, and olde-worlde charm that makes it wonderfully cosy. Dont be deceived by the rustic feel though: the kitchen is equipped with every modern appliance you could wish for, and both bedrooms boast their own en-suite bathrooms. There are also plenty of thoughtRead moreful touches that make the stay extra special. We were greeted with a fine bottle of red wine, a gorgeous cheeseboard, and biscuits on arrivala truly lovely welcome. Russell and Jill, the owners, go above and beyond to ensure every guest feels at home. Their warmth and attention to detail make each visit memorable, and its the reason we wouldnt dream of staying anywhere else when we come to Whitby. Hide

Lovely cosy cottage. Stairs could be an issue . The only problem we found was the parking. After several times going around we eventually found a space. Also the noice from the pub opposite was a bit much on a few nights. The cottage is ideally situated for all amenities .

Although it wasnt really cold, we had to light the fire. Nothing better on a dark night, windy night. Loved looking through the pictures of the cottage renovation.

A historic cosy cottage in the town centre convenient for the shops, restaurants, trains and buses which we used often during our week stay and was the main attraction of booking this place. High standards of cleanliness and maintenance of the property.
