DOLPH

This ground floor apartment sleeping four people and two dogs is just a short walk from the beach, cafes, shops and restaurants in Woolacombe. With its own private terrace enjoying sea views, Dolphin Court is arranged as five apartments in a beautiful Victorian house situated literally just off The Esplanade. Perfect for guests with mobility restrictions, the apartment has a ramp from the private allocated parking space to the front door and into the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. This spacious room with high ceilings and original oak floor has a Victorian fireplace and comfortable seating. The kitchen is well-equipped and the dining table is well-positioned between the kitchen and living areas. Patio doors lead out onto a private paved front terrace which has a lovely sea view and garden furniture. The spacious bedrooms have been furnished to allow flexibility for guests with the master having a king size bed and en-suite shower room whilst the second room is available either as a super king or twin beds.  There is also a good-sized additional bathroom which has a mixer handset over the bath. The second bedroom m has access to a shared rear patio which has surfboard and wetsuit racks – perfect for drying everything off after an exhilarating day on the beach. Further steps lead to a large shared decking area which is extremely sheltered and has a superb view of the beach. 1 Dolphin Court Apartment is a very short walk to Woolacombe Beach which lies between Morte Point and Baggy Point. This three-mile long stretch of golden sand is renowned for its cleanliness, water quality and facilities. The beach has been voted the number 1 beach in the UK by Tripadvisor in 2015 & 2016. It also holds the ‘England for Excellence Gold Award’ for best family resort and was voted the Best British Beach in the Mail On Sunday.

Lovely property with great views of the beach / sea. Comfortable beds and bedding. Good quality, fluffy towels. Terrace at back of house is a real sun trap. Items available include hair dryer, plenty of plates, glasses, cooking utensils. Plenty of hanging space and drawers. Great to have parking too! We did hear kids in the property above running aRead morebout. It was half term so to be expected. A real home from home. Hide

The apartment was very clean, spacious and homely. The utensils and crockery were high end, really nice to have good quality wine glasses! Everything needed for a luxurious stay was thought of.

One of the best accomations we have stayed with over the years. All kitchen equipment and glasses were of a high standard as were towels and bed linen. Even though weather was changeable we were able to sit outside to take in the sea due to veranda being partially sheltered. A very good location for every part of Woolacombe we wanted to access, with nothing too far to walk to, including the small and main beaches and town. In terms of facilities and equipment, we didn't feel we were lacking anything that we would normally expect in a self-catering property.

This was our second stay at Dolphin Court and it was another lovely one! The apartment is spacious and has all the comforts of home, while being in the perfect location to enjoy all Woolacombe has to offer.

This was our 2nd visit and it really is a lovely apartment, a great location and has good view of the beach / sea from the seating area at the front of the property. Apartment was clean, spacious and comfortable.

This apartment has everything to make a great holiday. It is just a few minutes walk to the shops, bars & restaurants and the beach. We took our dog with us and less than a minute walk to the grass cliff tops for him to walk. A very comfortable stay & was lovely to sit on the balcony with view of the sea & beach. We hope to visit again next year.

1 dolphin Court is a lovely comfy apartment, with everything we needed for our stay. It has an amazing view of Woolacombe from the deck, and is situated 5mins from not just the beach but all local shops, pubs and restaurants. Of all the places we've stayed, we've never had a better sleep, the bed is so comfortable.
