Hillside Farm Barns are a group of four thoughtfully converted properties situated around a central courtyard. The owners have taken pride in their conversion and have furnished to a high standard. The properties offer light, spacious accommodation and have the added benefit of being single storey with level access so would be ideal for those less able. Wangford offers two village pubs, a garage and good general store. Wangford Farm Shop is situated next to the properties and offers fresh daily produce. Shop: 0.02 miles Pub: 0.5 miles.

Wangford is only three miles from the beaches and from Southwold town centre, yet within easy access of the A12 and the many other attractions of the Heritage Coast. There is a good village shop, a farm shop and the popular Angel Inn, with restaurant serving good local food, much recommended by past guests.

Stayed here on and off for many years it was once a 4 star years ago. Its clean nicely located which is important to us and the Linda owner is very nice we kept going back as we have family in area however this time we will probably not return due to the uncomfortable sofa that has no support and small leather chair with extremely soft brown seRead moreat that kinda sinks and becomes very uncomfortable shame really as we have been going there on n off for years. Great location, very clean, well equipped absolutely no problems whatsoever. High speed internet and smart tv, close to a bus stop and the main road serving Suffolk. I would be more than happy to use the cottage again and would highly recommend it to anyone who wanted to stay on the edge of a quiet village which was near to the main road system to Read moreexplore Suffolk. The cottage was really comfortable and clean, the kitchen was well equipped and the bed was very comfortable. There is a lovely view from the front patio. It is also well located for lots of different trips out

A clean, small and simple holiday apartment beautifully planned and furnished, including a small selection of games and a bookcase with a varied collection of books for different tastes, which gave us great pleasure. Welcoming village church, excellent village shop and good quality farm shop on site.

An absolute gem, situated in a perfect position. The house was absolutely spotless and toasty warm on our arrival, with milk, tea and coffee and biscuits for us. Great shower! Which is always appreciated.

A very cosy cottage with good access to places such as Southwold. My two gripes are 1] that as a light sleeper I was woken by noise from the adjacent farm buiding - heavy thumps/bangs 11 pm 4am [one night only and 6-7 am most mornings. 2] no info pack - never been to a cottage before that didn't have one with guides to area and important info. This is a small but perfect cottage for two. Comfortable and cosy with all the equipment you need. We had a fantastic time in the village, in the Angel for food and drink and the local store. Ideally placed for Southwold and Minsmere. Osprey at Thorpeness. Red deer at Minsmere.

The cottage was welcoming & warm, Bed very comfortable. Shower good, although somewhere to put shampoo etc would be good. Farm shop had a good variety of food & fruit. Local bus service excellent.

Great location for touring around the Southwold area bus service , although not used, seems to be quite regular stops outside the cottage ..we ve stayed here many times pre covidkeep coming back !

Lovely lodge and very comfortable with everything we needed to enjoy our stay, there is a farm shop next door which was very handy, and a bus stop outside the farm which we used a few times to go into Southwold, lovely pub in the village and a well stocked shop, there are some lovely walks around the marshes and the marina.
