Lobster Pot Cottage is an exceptionally well equipped and very comfortable place to be based for a stay in Orford. Its central location is brilliant, and having its own car parking space directly opposite the front door was so helpful. Highly recommended!

We stayed in May (apologies for the delay in posting this review) and found the cottage was perfect. The owners kindly let us use the opposite parking bay which made life very easy indeed. We would love to return.

We were both very happy with the cottage (my initial concerns when we received the access details were that I had not booked a nice location. Fortunately, I was completely wrong about that!) and to discover that there was a private parking space was a real plus as I dislike holiday lets where my car is nowhere in sight. We both liked how the cottagRead moree was decorated and being in a quiet location made our evenings enjoyable. As we are both retired we did find the stairs a little on the steep side but we fully appreciate that this is the norm in a building of this age. Hopefully, we would consider a return to Lobster Cottage in the future as long as the weather is as good as it was for our stay! Hide

The lobster Pot is a very nice and cosy cottage with the only slight negative highlighted above to do with the floor level change. We would 100% return to this cottage the owners have it just right for guests. maybe some additional hangers of quality wouldn't go amiss, I'm not a fan of plastic or wire coat hangers but that's my OCD coming out. A PIRead moreR light outside the property as you approach the front door would benefit as it is extremely dark on the approach. We totally loved The Lobster Pot and hope to find availability later in the year when the weather is better. Hide

We have stayed at the Lobster Pot many times - and we enjoyed this visit as much as all our others. It is comfortable and in one of the best positions in Orford - approx. 30 seconds to the bakery and the shop - both of which are wonderful. The cottage is clean, well equipped and a great place to stay - we will be returning!
