Luggers Cottage is a period property dating from 1790 and at one time formed part of a public house but has now been converted to provide character accommodation, just a few minutes walk from the quayside. It has a tasteful and attractive interior, which is warm and cosy, whatever the weather outside. Shop/Pub: within walking distance

Wells is a popular town set behind a small harbour on the beautiful North Norfolk Coast. It is possible to travel from the town by narrow-gauge steam railway to the sandy beach, which is backed by pine woods. The beach is one mile from the town and has a car park and tea rooms. It is an ideal location for a holiday at any time of the year and the area is famed for ornithology and has many excellent walks. Amenities in the town include amusements, great pubs, restaurants and many interesting shops.

We had a fantastic stay at Luggers Cottage. Charming period stone property which kept us in an unseasonable heatwave. A few minutes walk from the quay but in a peaceful location away from the bustle. There was everything in this cottage you would need.We have been to Luggers twice now and are looking to book again next year ,a great place to stay

This cottage is ideally situated in the heart of Wells. it is absolutely beautiful and was decorated for christmas. It is well equipped and offers a home from home experience we loved it. Hoping to return again in 2026

Kitchen equipment was excellent. Lovely dining room and the outdoor space would be great in the summer. Downstairs main bathroom needed lock on the door. Great location and having parking was really valued.

Comfortable clean cottage in a great location for local amenities. Bathroom is downstairs next to kitchen with a smalll toilet closet in the main bedroom next to bed.which we found to not suit us. The cottage is well equipped and has a central position for access to all the local amenities. All surrounding properties are holiday cottages and we encountered other holiday cottage guests blocking our access to the two parking spaces for Luggers cottage. These spaces are tight for SUV style family cars, there is a large public car park nearby.Read more Please be aware that there is only one toilet accessible for most occupants and this is on the ground floor. The advertised separate WC on the first floor turned out to be a toilet in a tiny cupboard within the double bedroom, handy for the occupants of the double room but putting it out of use for all other guests, particularly as the cupboard door can't be shut once you're sitting on the toilet. The cottage is spacious enough for six guest though the first floor twin has no floor space for luggage to be positioned. All the staircases are shallow and access to the top floor twin is up a steep, and twisting staircase. Hide

Perfect central location for exploring Wells. Plenty of pubs, bakeries and cafes within walking distance. Beautiful woodland trails and sandy beach 30mins walk away, perfect for dog walking! Very nice cottage in a central part of Wells-next-the-Sea. Great location for exploring the North Norfolk coast. Walking distance to all Wells-next-the-Sea amenities including cafes, shops, and pubs. Recommended!

Luggers cottage is in a beautiful part of Norfolk, our first time visiting wells next to the sea and we were not disappointed the holiday was made even more perfect by the property we rented , they have thought of everything, we have two girls under 10 who were safe to play in the outdoor space. My mum also came with us and had her own room up in Read morethe attic space which was beautifully decorated as were all the rooms . Definitely worth the money and worth a visit . This cottage is so we'll equipped, even dog bowls, a full size fridge freezer and all the cutlery and crockery you could need!! Very comfy and spacious and very close to Wells Town and a lovely walk to the beach. Thumbs up from us.

Luggers cottage is fabulous in a great location walking distance to all amenities. Is dog friendly and has a fully sucure garden, we had a wonderful stay and will one day return wells next to sea is beautiful.
