This beautifully furnished first floor apartment, sleeping four people, is situated in the centre of Woolacombe. 18 Driftwood has an external flight of steps leading up to its front door where there is a covered seating area with a bistro table and two chairs. Inside, the light and airy open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner has 2 comfy settees, a dining table overlooking the window and a well-equipped kitchen with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine and slimline dishwasher. All three bedrooms are decorated in a bright contemporary style and due to one of the single rooms having an additional pull-out single bed, there is a great degree of flexibility in the sleeping arrangements. A family bathroom with a shower over the bath and a separate cloakroom complete the accommodation; whilst outside there is a secure storage facility around the back of the apartment. 18 Driftwood is a very short walk to Woolacombe Beach which lies between Morte Point and Baggy Point. This three-mile long stretch of golden sand is renowned for its cleanliness, water quality and facilities. Lifeguards ensure safe swimming during the summer and surfers come from all over the country to enjoy the great waves and clean water. The beach has been voted the number 1 beach in the UK by Tripadvisor in 2015 & 2016. It also holds the ‘England for Excellence Gold Award’ for best family resort and was voted the Best British Beach in the Mail On Sunday. Woolacombe itself is a lively village with great pubs, restaurants, cafes and a choice of shops.  With easy access to Ilfracombe with its picturesque harbour, Exmoor National Park and with wonderful coastal and country walks available directly from the village this is a great holiday destination all year round.

Absolutely perfect stay. Lovely and clean, very well equipped. Perfect location . Plenty to do locally in walking distance and a short distance by car . So close to the beach . Perfect. Will definitely be returning .

Great 3 bedroomed flat, really suitable for group of friends. Nice to have separate loo in addition to bathroom. Shame not to have sea view but really close to the beach and cafe, pub etc. very well equipped and lots of hooks for hanging up coats etc.
