We found everything about the property out of a dream fantasy, did Elizabeth ! actually visit there? The whole experience was most enjoyable, Sandwich and the inhabitants were most welcoming. Deal Castle, Richborough, and Dover Castle were fascinating. Again who would have thought that Richborough was the main point of entry for the Romans during Read moretheir occupation! Hide

Plus an added little bonus, just 3 minutes walk from the rear of the Short House is the beautifully maintained Sandwich Cricket Field & Club a lovely peaceful area to go and enjoy especially on Saturday afternoon when the team may be playing.
