Perched on a commanding position overlooking the award-winning Woolacombe Beach, this beautifully designed home encapsulates all that a seaside escape should be and more. Just a short 0.5-mile stroll down the road brings you directly onto the front of Woolacombe, from where you can take to the sun-kissed sands of the beach, build sandcastles, experience some incredible surf, or simply take time to relax before enjoying the fine array of local shops, cafes and fine eateries. Enjoy exploring the South West Coast Path on your doorstep; you can marvel at the picture-postcard views or try spotting the seals along the coastline. Other attractions and places of interest include Exmoor National Park (13 miles), National Trust’s Arlington Court (14 miles), the quaint coastal villages of Lynton and Lynmouth (21 miles), or you could enjoy a day with the animals at Combe Martin Wildlife Park (12 miles).

Feel relaxed from the moment you arrive at this beautiful home, slipping off sandy shoes in the hallway, before entering the impressive open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, bursting with light and colour. Double French doors alongside a row of large windows allow you to bring the outside in to adjoin with the choice of two relaxed seating areas, both featuring Smart TVs and comfortable seating. In addition, there is a foosball table which sits under one of the traditional exposed beams, which combines wonderfully with the exposed stone within the home. The backdrop to this space is the well-appointed kitchen, providing everything you need and more for a stress-free stay, whilst the dining table acts well to combine the entertainment spaces, and hosts the ideal spot for those laid-back meals and views across the bay. When the day draws to a close, guests have a choice of four fabulous bedrooms to choose from, split as two on the lower floor, and two on the upper. The lower floor bedrooms provide one king-size room, as well as a twin bedroom. Both are mere steps away from the downstairs shower room. Completing the lower floor is the laundry room, with a washing machine, tumble dryer and an extra fridge. Heading up the stairway will lead you to a further choice of bedrooms, one being a twin room and the other a super-king-size, both with stunning sea views across to the bay and of course plenty of wardrobe storage. Between the two rooms is the bathroom with a shower over bath and WC, whilst just off the landing is the large balcony area, offering up the perfect spot for a morning cuppa.

After a day at the beach, you can relax on your private patio terrace, whilst watching one of the stunning sunsets this area is renowned for. There is comfortable seating for all alongside the use of a gas BBQ, putting the nominated chef in their element for the evening’s enjoyment.

We had an amazing time at The Stables, host we very helpful and we had everything we needed. The views are amazing along with the wildlife. Lovely walks down to the coast, would recommend to anyone.

Lovely views from the lounge & dining room & the outside terrace. Nice walks down to Woolacombe. Rather steep walk back up. Comfortable holiday for a family of six or eight.
