Gull Cottage nestles in a quiet location just off the main thoroughfare to the village of St Merryn. This property offers the ideal accommodation for a family holiday or for that stolen week out of season. The garden to the rear is enclosed and provides complete privacy from neighbouring properties making it an ideal area to relax after a day on the beach or for that summer evening barbecue! Reaching the very centre of St Merryn village entails a short walk and offers a wide choice of restaurants, pubs and takeaways, plus several shops which will cater for your every need. Sandy Harlyn is the closest bay to the village, approximately a mile in distance, but there are also several other beaches close by to choose from depending on which activity is the favourite of the day, whether it be surfing, fishing, crabbing, swimming, playing cricket, volley ball or simply relaxing on the sand.  Of course, exploring the nearby busy fishing town of Padstow could keep you busy for hours and has something to offer everyone, including cycling or walking the Camel Trail which is a must for all ages.

Bedroom 2: Twin beds (3' - may be zip and linked to form 6' superking), wardrobe, chest of drawers, bedside tables.

GARDEN & PARKING: Parking for 2-3 cars in the drive. NB garage not available for  use. Front garden small lawn with a shrub border, enclosed rear garden mainly laid to lawn with patio area, garden furniture. Shed can be used for storage of bikes, surfboards, wetsuits etc. 

Pets Welcome: Maximum 2 dogs; £25 per pet per week
Power and Heat: Gas and electricity included in rent; Modern storage heater in hall, electric radiators lounge, dining area and bedrooms, living flame coal effect gas fire lounge; hot water electric immersion.
Bedding and Linen: Ben linen and towels are provided (please bring your own beach towels). Please order zip and linked bed in advance. 
Baby Equipment: Not provided but may be hired

We enjoyed Staying at Gull Cottage it is a good and comfortable place to stay. It is well situated and the local shops are so close it made mornings easy. The local bakery is well known and sells all you need for a day out with a choice of rolls that you can chose the filling for, all types of pasties and sandwiches plus cakes and coffee's. There iRead mores also a local store for newspapers etc plus general groceries, beers, wines and spirits open from 7.30am till 7pm. There is also a filling station. Hide

Gull Cottage was perfect, near to lots of amenities, beach, A30. Miss Sky TV and a tv in the bedrooms. Sadly left early as weather miserable, would definitely stay again

A lovely bungalow in a great village. Perfectly positioned for exploring the area. Great little shops just around the corner for essentials. 2 pubs within a short distance with good pavements to get to them. Bus stops in the village too. Nice cottage with a nice garden. some where to sit out in the sun. Kitchen very good with all amenities. Bedroom we used was spot on it had a proper bed in it very comfortable. Good night sleep. Shower and bathroom all worked. Nice quiet neighbourhood, would like to stay again.

A wonderful holiday bungalow, in a great location. A real home from home. Spotlessly clean throughout and so well equipped. Comfy bed, linen and towels all good quality. The lounge was cosy and comfortable.

We love staying here. The location is amazing. The beds are comfy, and the kitchen is huge. With Gull cottage being a dog friendly house, this really suits us.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 7 night stay at Gull Cottage, we loved the layout of the property and it was very clean and comfortable with an enclosed garden for our little dog and off road parking. It was very quiet especially on an evening and we always had a great night sleep. Our first time to Padstow and we thought St Merryn was a great base to exRead moreplore the surrounding area. We liked the location of Gull Cottage which is within walking distance to the local shops, pubs and restaurants (all of which are dog friendly). We couldnt have asked for better weather which was a real bonus. We would definitely stay here again and would have no hesitation recommending the property to family/friends. Hide

This was the most lovely relaxing place. The weather was perfect every day. The location is fantastic to see lots of the local places of interest although you do need a car. There was nowhere you could just walk to. The local beaches are just beautiful and great for dogs. Lovely 2 bed bungalow in a very quiet area, which was great, we stayed in November and had a nice relaxed week with not a drop of rain in sight all week, weather was cold but not so cold you had to be all wrapped up like a snowman, actually the sun was out on most days so not so bad, dog loved it anyway. Bungalow has everything you need, home from Read morehome really, except the bed which I found too soft but then I have a really hard bed at home so not really a complaint just an observation. Hide

Gull cottage is a comfortable, well equipped bungalow with a dog- proof back garden. It is in a very good location, being walking distance to the village & a short drive to sandy beaches & the golf course. We had a great holiday & plan to be back soon. Thank you!

Whilst comfortable and clean, some areas could do with painting such as the skirtings, there are several carpet threads which look unsightly. No sharp knives or scissors.
