Very close to the High Street of Skipton, this cottage is set in a quiet and peaceful location within the central urban conservation area. The accommodation is cosy and ideally located for the many shops, pubs and restaurants in the town centre. Great for a relaxing holiday there are plenty of attractions within the town, including the historic castle, church and Leeds to Liverpool canal on which there are regular cruises.

Skipton
Skipton is a market town located on the course of the River Aire and the Leeds and Liverpool Canal to the south of the Yorkshire Dales. Skipton is able to boast Skipton Castle, constructed in 1090. Skipton became a prosperous market town, trading sheep and woollen goods and still has a cobbled street, Sheep Street.

The town provides an ideal base for a walking trip and is close enough to the Dales and the Lakes for days out.

We have been coming to the Cottage for many years, the location is perfect and the size is just right. Although some of the restaurants have gone a few more new ones have taken their place.

Bobbin Cottage is a fantastic quiet location but only 80 meters from the High Street and canals. A spacious property a real tardis so much bigger on the inside. A beautiful cottage with off street parking and very central but quiet. The cottage was spotless. It was also very cosy and warm. We has freezing weather but did not feel the cold. We have stayed here before, and enjoy the cottage location by the canal and so close to the town centre. The cottage itself is so pleasant and comfortable, an ideal base from to explore Yorkshire. Having its own parking space is a plus. Good facilities if you want to cook, and plenty of options to eat out. Very comfortable beds.

Perfect location for exploring Skipton and surrounding area. Not too far for public transport links if wanting to use public transport. All equipment in the cottage is user friendly and it really is a home from home stay. The cottage owners have thought of everything to make your stay comfortable. Lovely little cottage tucked away in a quiet corner of Skipton but only minutes from everything, parking right outside the door, downstairs loo a bonus and pleasant seating outside, in courtyard or looking towards the canal, would recommend. Skipton itself was lovely and a fantastic base

Bobbin cottage is perfectly situated in the heart of Skipton with the peacefulness of being in the country. The cottage is well looked after with all you need for a comfortable stay. It has a lovely secluded sitting area to the rear with a small car parking space at the front. This was our second stay and would certainly return.

Bobbin Cottage is in a quiet but central location in Skipton with a valuable parking space. The cottage was spotlessly clean and very well equipped with good quality furnishing, bedding, towels etc. The owners left a lovely welcome pack. We found this a lovely cottage to stay in. Cosy, well designed and comfortable, and a great location near the centre of Skipton and the canal. Yet it is tucked away in a quiet corner. The kitchen is well equipped and the beds comfortable. An ideal base for enjoying Skipton and the surrounding area.

The cottage is situated perfectly for canal walks and town shopping. Comfortable and warm and cosy. Just what was needed as it chucked it down and then snowed. Temp outside 0!

Bobbin Cottage is a cosy place to spend a few days exploring the dale's. The interior is modern and very comfortable, although the single bedroom is quite small. The heating is very effective and we were never cold. Kitchen is well equipped so we had no difficulty cooking our meals. Shops are close by and the Royal Shepherd pub around the corner seRead morerves outstanding food. The Leeds-Liverpool canal is almost at your front door and provides hours of peaceful walks beside the water. We would recommend this cottage for couples wanting a relaxing holiday in Skipton. Hide

What a fantastic gem in the heart of Skipton! We had a wonderful week. The cottage is very well presented with all that we needed. Beds were very comfortable and chair and sofa fitted well in living room. Outside area with chairs and table was great and a bench looking towards the canal was a lovely little suntrap. We discovered the quick route to Read morethe high street so really in the centre of everything. Bonus parking space made everything easy. This cottage is ideally located in Skipton, just a minutes level walk to the main high street and only a few minutes to the castle. It is lovely to sit on the bench and look at the canal which is only a minute away. Everything had been thought of for our comfort and there were nice touches like milk and biscuits waiting for our arrival. This cottage was perfectly situated for a holiday in Skipton minutes from the town. The cottage was well equipped and had everything you needed for a stay. Also provided was tea, coffee, biscuits etc. which is very handy having travelled a fair distance. It has a lovely quiet and secluded outside space for sitting. The stairs up to the bedrooms weRead morere a bit steep for me but luckily there was a toilet both upstairs and down. Skipton is a busy town particularly at the weekends the people are friendly and helpful. There is plenty of pubs and cafes all selling good food and a variety of beers. Hide
