A delightful, unusual barn conversion in a glorious location with lovely views over the owners pretty gardens and large pond as well as the orchards to the rear and wonderful views over the rolling Kentish countryside. This is ideal walking country with many footpaths adjacent and within a short drive are many historic houses, gardens, National Trust and English Heritage properties. The mainline station at Marden is only four miles distant for trains to London (one hour) and the historic and picturesque village of Goudhurst offers shopping, a variety of restaurants and pubs. We had an absolutely super time, thank you! John and Jan were friendly and attentive (whilst not intrusive) hosts, and the accommodation/surroundings were just lovely. After many years of travel around the UK, this has found itself into our top 5, and we'd love to come back next year (missing it already)!

This property had everything we needed, plus a large pond to walk around with seating to enjoy the pond. It had plenty of crockery etc. so we didn't have to keep washing up or use the dishwasher. We found the location was very good for National Trust properties, other attractions and the coast was within an hours drive.

Delightful property, beautifully secluded in lovely countryside. Equipped with everything needed, and very comfortable. Would just give warning for those with mobility issues re the spiral staircase. Owners onsite extremely kind and helpful, and allowed use of their garden.

Friendly owners. Barn on an idyllic spot, but difficult to walk to the village because of narrow, busy road. A rack to put suitcase on would be pleasant.
