Great converted barn on a pretty location. Well equipped and plenty of bathrooms. Separate from the owners house with separate garden and driveway for 1 car. Friendly owners who are happy to help out and make your holiday even more enjoyable. Good privacy for the apartment though.

Very comfortable and spacious home in ideal situation for visiting lots of interesting places. Really hospitable owners who couldnt do enough to help. The thoughtful welcome pack on arrival was much appreciated. We really enjoyed our stay although the immediate vicinity could be busy at times.

The barn is full of character and was a fascinating place to stay. There was some noise from the adjacent business park, and also from a neighbouring nursery school, though nothing obtrusive. The cottage has no views of rolling countryside - the big window looks out over the patio garden, and beyond that is the carpark for the businesses. The Farm Read moreShop next door is excellent, though pricey. The cottage's location is excellent, just off a main road allowing quick access to the local road network - Sissinghurst, Bodiam and Scotney are barely 20 minutes each away! Ashdown Forest, and Pooh Corner, are a 20 mile drive away. We liked it so much we've booked a return visit already! Hide

A beautiful, and thoughtfully converted barn. Two stylish and comfortable bedrooms. Quality mattresses and bedding. All very clean. Plenty of hot water, clean bathrooms, and effective heating. The barn is well equipped. The location is fantastic for foodies, with a very popular farm shop and cafe a few yards away. We had planned to eat out locally,Read more but the food on offer there was so interesting, and of good quality, that we cooked quite often. The barn had enough equipment to cook anything we wanted. Even with the farmshop close by, the barn is very private, not overlooked, and there was no noise at all from traffic. Not a sound at night. The owners met us when we arrived, were friendly, and showed us around adequately. They generously left us a couple of extra treats as we had married the day before our stay. It was a beautiful and romantic place to honeymoon. We can't wait to return. Hide
