This unique property is light and airy, has great harbour views and is conveniently located just a short walk from the harbour, shops, inns and quays. It is set in an elevated position and its double aspect means it enjoys the sun throughout the day. It has numerous windows giving exceptional light and wide harbour views across the rooftops. Unusually for a property so near the centre of Fowey, it also has a pleasant garden with patio and river views.

NOTES: No babies or children under the age of 8 due to the unsuitability of the garden. There is private access by uneven steps to a tiered garden with a drop.

  • PLEASE NOTE: Property is on an accessible pathway/through path, set above the main street, and is reached by a flight of steps at either end. One end near the Lugger pub approx 100m away are 15 very steep steps, the other end close to the property is 9 granite more manageable steps and a short walk towards the property (approx 10m) this is the end and access that you will briefly unload your car at before parking.

Our first stay at Yardarm Cottage but we will no doubt be back again! We have had a fantastic two-week stay and found the property offered us the perfect setting for our holiday in Fowey. Location is excellent and we enjoyed being right in the centre of the town. The facilities at the property were excellent with no issues and we spent a good few eRead morevenings in and cooking when we did not want to eat out. Highly recommended, and we thought the communications ahead of our stay from Original Cottages were very clear and spot on. Hide

Our third visit to Yardarm & as previously had a lovely week. The house is presented & finished to a very high standard. The milk & excellent bottle of wine were very welcoming. The whole house has become so familiar it feels just like being at home. The new bathroom & shower are a perfect upgrade. We were very lucky with the weather after a slow Read morestart to the summer, wall to wall sunshine for most of the week. A great base for walking, cycling, cooking great food & relaxing with a beer & a glass of wine after the activities of the day come to a close. This was a wonderful home and we were delighted to rent it for the week - thank you! We LOVED the overall design and feel - beautiful. Really thoughtful touches like the non-slip covers on the sofas, the twin fridges, the electric blinds, the bi-fold doors, the new ensuite shower room with heated mirror - the list could go on. We had a lovely time at Yardam Cottage. We had almost everything we needed (just needed some extra toilet roll right at the end of our stay!). The place was well located, had wonderful views and was exactly what we were looking for. One thing to note and should be on the listing: there is a neighbourhood cat who visits the property regularly and isRead more not afraid to come into the house - whilst we loved having a cat there, someone with allergies or otherwise may prefer advance warning of this. Stunning location and property. The quality of the equipment and furnishing far exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend this property. We were worried about the parking in Fowey so we bought a Rover ticket for 60 as everyone said it would be a nightmare to get a space and at least that would give us the choice of three car parks in Fowey. HRead moreowever, we arrived to find several spaces in the Main Car park and only cost 25 to park for the week. This was in late June. Hide
