This unique property is light and airy, has great harbour views and is conveniently located just a short walk from the harbour, shops, inns and quays. It is set in an elevated position and its double aspect means it enjoys the sun throughout the day. It has numerous windows giving exceptional light and wide harbour views across the rooftops. Unusually for a property so near the centre of Fowey, it also has a pleasant garden with patio and river views.

GROUND FLOOR:
Lounge/Kitchen/Diner: TV, DVD player, stereo with iPod dock. Electric oven and hob, fridge with freezer compartment, microwave, dishwasher, washer/dryer.
Bedroom 1: King Size bed (5') En Suite Shower: Newly fitted enclosed shower, basin, w.c. (Please note from March 2023 there will be no spa bath as previously advertised.)

LOWER GROUND FLOOR:
Bedroom 2: King size (5'), basin.
Bedroom 3: Twin beds (3').
Bathroom: Bath (shower over), basin, w.c.

GARDEN & PARKING: Lawned garden, patio, garden furniture and barbecue. No parking, unloading is possible within 50 yards of the property. Parking is available in the public car park around 450 yards away.

Power and Heat: Gas and electricity included in rent. Gas central heating throughout.
Bedding and Linen: Bed linen and towels provided (please bring your own beach towels).
Shop: 0.1 ml Pub: 0.1 ml

NOTES: No babies or children under the age of 8 due to the unsuitability of the garden. There is private access by uneven steps to a tiered garden with a drop.
No smoking, no pets. WiFi provided. Important information about internet usage. Mobile reception varies. Information about mobile phone coverage.

  • PLEASE NOTE: Property is on an accessible pathway/through path, set above the main street, and is reached by a flight of steps at either end. One end near the Lugger pub approx 100m away are 15 very steep steps, the other end close to the property is 9 granite more manageable steps and a short walk towards the property (approx 10m) this is the end and access that you will briefly unload your car at before parking.

In a central location, this is an amazing place to stay with fabulous views overlooking the river from both cottage and garden (which is well maintained). Outdoor facilities include table and chairs, sun loungers and barbecue. And no through-traffic to disturb your sleep. Well stocked kitchen with every comfort you can think of, with a thoughtfulRead more welcome pack upon arrival. Due to its elevated position the cottage steps are a bit steep, but thankfully not too many. We experienced a memorable Father's Day on the Fowey to Meva ferry where we were fortunate to see Risso dolphins and a sun fish. And during our stay we were contacted by the owners who provided helpful tips on how to stay cool during the hot weather. Most welcome. Hide

Very comfortable home seated in a perfect Fowey location. Well appointed with high quality amenities. Quiet neighborhood. Great garden with superb views. A great place from which to discover Cornwall.

For the first time in over 30 years of renting Cottages in Devon & Cornwall, we gave up on this one before we had even moved in. The suggestion that it is possible to unload anywhere even remotely near the property on a Saturday afternoon is "optimistic" in the extreme.

Our first stay at Yardarm Cottage but we will no doubt be back again! We have had a fantastic two-week stay and found the property offered us the perfect setting for our holiday in Fowey. Location is excellent and we enjoyed being right in the centre of the town. The facilities at the property were excellent with no issues and we spent a good few eRead morevenings in and cooking when we did not want to eat out. Highly recommended, and we thought the communications ahead of our stay from Original Cottages were very clear and spot on. Hide
