The Granary at Croft Farm in the popular village of Snape is a well presented three-bedroom holiday home only a short drive away from the Suffolk coastline. This converted farm building has been transformed into a self-catering property for five guests and ideally suited to families. With a converted building of this style you can imagine high ceilings, character features and rustic charm – here there’s plenty! The kitchen diner is a large area where guests can socialise together during meal times. The cosy sitting room can be found just off the kitchen and is a great place to unwind in front of the television. There is also a handy shower room on the ground floor in addition to the family bathroom upstairs.

Up the staircase to the first floor you’ll find three bedrooms. The master has retained some its character features with rustic vaulted ceiling beams. Skylight windows allow plenty of light to this room. The remaining two bedrooms are a twin bedded room which works for both adults and children and a single bedroom with added benefit of two windows. The family bathroom provides a calming atmosphere with its bath tub and blue and cream tones throughout.

Outside there is a lovely enclosed garden area at the front of the property with garden furniture which is a lovely spot to enjoy the outdoors. The Granary also comes with a handy private parking space – making your holiday in Snape all the more easy.

The Granary and The Forge are both situated within Croft Farm and can be booked together to accommodate seven guests. Shop: 500 yards Pub: 1300 yards.

We had a wonderful time with our son, daughter in law and our two grandchildren 8yrs & 7months old. The property was beautifully kept, very clean & tidy, and had everything you could need! Our grandson loved the field where he could play cricket and football away from the house and in some shade, and the field was great for letting the dogs off for a good run! The beds were all very comfortable too, and a fab BBQ and seating in the beautiful garden was another bonus, we really couldnt fault it, and we would definitely recommend it to everyone. A big thank you for making us feel so welcome, and we wish you much success in your future ventures on the farm. Hide

A first rate cottage in an excellent location making it an ideal property from which to visit all the local nature reserves. Inspite of the above improvement suggestions, we found the cottage very comfy - beds, big bath, utility room and downstairs toilet a big plus. The new owners have only just moved into the main farmhouse and I am sure once they have settled in, they will address some of the minor issues. The cottage is in a great location with easy access to SuttoRead moren Hoo, Framlingham Castle, Orford Castle, Rendlesham Forest etc and the enclosed garden was a very sunny spot for us and our dog to relax in. We would certainly return for another visit. Hide
