Refurbished throughout, the cottage has been beautifully extended to include several glazed walls which bring loads of additional light into this delightful traditional Suffolk cottage. A brand new bright and sunny fitted kitchen with island unit with breakfast bar; the wall facing the garden now has fully opening bi-fold door opening onto the garden where, in summer, there is a table and chairs directly in front of you.

A tasteful mix of contemporary design and original features, the hall has traditional white brick flooring throughout, whist the sitting room and dining room retain the old malting pamment tiles, once a feature of the maltings house at the Snape Maltings. The dining room retains its original bread oven whilst the sitting room has a new wood burning stove in the old inglenook fireplace.

A new wooden staircase leads straight up to the 1st floor where there are three good sized bedrooms, two of which have the choice of singles/superking beds, the third has twin beds. On booking please identify how you would like the beds configured.

The garden has been charmingly landscaped to create discreet seating areas amongst the shrubs and trees and new willow fencing to give privacy within the garden.

Charming cottage and extension but there are some low ceilings. Think saying that there is parking for two cars is misleading as they would need to be very small or you would need to leave the gates open and then garden is insecure - there are three spaces on the green but be aware that neighbours do also park there

This is a charming, comfortable cottage in a superb location. The cottage was so well equipped, made life so much easier. Everything was well maintained and clear instructions helped manage the local power outages. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Cottage lovely and clean and it has been stocked with real thought with all the little things you need in a home in an emergency, but that on holiday you haven't necessarily got with you. Very central for AONB, Lovely place to stay...already booked for next year.

Its a nice cottage but the water heating system let us down 4 days out of 7 which really isnt acceptable. Having a working shower is a basic requirement. Wouldnt recommend because of this

Lovely little cottage. Very clean & comfortable, containing everything you might need. One slight caveat - description states parking room for two small cars. The cars would need to be very small indeed to fit in and be able to close the gates, which is needed to make the garden fully enclosed & escape proof for dogs.
