The Low House is one of the few pubs in the country without a bar - instead it has a traditional tap room. It is also known for its horse carriage rides, family friendly garden where events such as an annual beer festival, plays, Morris dancing and concerts are also held. The village is well located and is a short drive from Southwold, Walberswick and Framlingham with its castle and market. Hidden gem of a lovely cottage in a quiet, friendly village. There is a choice of 3 gardens to sit and enjoy a variety of visiting birds & squirrels. 2 great pubs on the doorstep for drinks & food and sometimes live music and a local museum opposite to visit. There's a walking route of a few hours around the village to do. Easy access for travellRead moreing around Suffolk and Norfolk by car from the cottage. We felt like locals during our 2 week stay as everyone made us feel very welcome. We didn't want to leave as it was such a comfy home from home and the glorious Suffolk sunshine certainly helped! We're so glad we found it and we'd love to return. Hide
