Outside, a lane at the side of the building leads to the beach which, like the majority of locations along the North Devon coastline, is renowned for its fantastic surfing conditions and has been known to hold waves over 12 feet high! The beach is perfect for advanced surfers looking for punchy powerful waves in addition to beginners looking to try their hand at this exhilarating sport. The seasonal beach café situated just below the car park is more than happy to hire out boards and wetsuits. The nearby villages of Croyde and Georgeham are within a couple of miles and have a choice of shops, pubs and restaurants whilst the larger towns of Woolacombe and Braunton provide a further choice of facilities and are within a 20 minute drive.
